MONDAY

5/2, Painting – Ceramic Paint Bar at Ceramic Cupboard in Norco from 11a.m. to 6p.m. Cost to use the paint bar is $6 for a day with the purchase of at least one ceramic item. Take your time to create a true masterpiece with unlimited use of over 100 colors. With sponges, stencils and various brushes, as well as basic instruction available, you’re sure to bring something home with pride.

5/3, Art Exhibit – “Myth and Majesty: Photographs Picturing the American Southwest” at California Museum of Photography at UCR ARTSblock in Riverside. General admission is $3. Photographs taken from the 1870s to the 1930s depict a group of people who have called America home for many years. See the beauty of their culture through timeless photographs.

WEDNESDAY

5/4, Painting Projects – Paint With Us at The Sawdust Factory in Upland from 9a.m. to 4p.m. Workshop is $4 per person in addition to the cost of the project you choose to create and paint. Call ahead to ensure space is available. From cars and other things that go "VROOM" to picture frames, bug boxes and other projects, children and adults can paint and build awesome wooden projects. THURSDAY


8/13, Museum – Visit Corona Heritage Museum at Corona Heritage Park in Corona from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Admission is free. Feel free to come by, and wander the grounds of this charming museum. The exhibits are self-explanatory and accessible to anyone who wants to learn more about the city’s great history.

8/13, Sewing Class – Intro to Fashion Sewing Class For Kids from 4p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Price is $99.95 for four meetings. Please reserve class at least 24 hours in advance by calling (909) 767-0828 or email cutsewswtich@gmail.com. Children ages 10 to 16 will enjoy this weekday class. No prior experience is required, a sewing machine will be provided, and the supply list is provided upon registration. Your teen will love learning the fundamentals of sewing, while getting the opportunity to channel their inner fashionista.

FRIDAY

5/6, Museum – Visit Chaffey Community Museum of Art in Ontario from 12p.m. to 4p.m. Admission is free. The main gallery is currently featuring “Art and Soul Mid Valley Arts League.” This exhibit features various works of arts spanning many mediums and styles. 5/6, Musical Superman The Musical at The Grove Theatre in Upland at 7:29p.m. Ticket prices range from $15-30.
