For the last four years, Project Boon has been hosting the Thanksgiving event, Eat & Be Well, to serve warm meals and provide a health and wellness resource fair for the underserved in the Inland Empire. They have served over 9,000 plates and the need continues to grow. By working with the city of Fontana and various community partners, Project Boon has helped feed over 10,000 individuals in the past four years.

Their event helps low-income families stretch their holiday budget and connect them to social resources they would, otherwise, may not be able to access. Along with a Thanksgiving mea and connection to potentially life-changing resources, their resource fair also offers hygiene kits, socks, haircuts, flu shots and basic health screenings.

Their next event will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 11a.m.-3p.m. at the Seville Park & Cypress Neighborhood Center: 8380 Cypress Ave. Fontana 92335. This is a completely free event.
