Open auditions will be held this Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at LifeHouse Theater, 1135 North Church Street, Redlands for LifeHouse Theater’s original Christmas musical Miracle on 34th Street.

 

Auditions will be on a first come-first served basis. Roles are open for both men and women, however men are especially encouraged to audition. If interested, please bring a theatrical resume and a recent photo. If you don’t have a recent picture, you can have one taken on-site for a $2 fee. Bring your own sheet music, and be prepared to sing about 16 measures in your preferred key. Auditions with CD’s will not be accepted.

Kris Kringle - Kind old man who truly believes he is Santa Claus

Doris Walker - Special Event Coordinator for Macy’s Department Store

Susan Walker - Daughter of Doris, wise beyond her years              

Fred Gailey - Neighbor and friend of Doris and Susan, attorney.               

Mr. Shellhammer - Manager of the Toy Department             

Mr. Macy - Very concerned with public opinion and publicity

Mr. Sawyer - Macy’s Psychologist

Mr. Gimble - Owner of Gimble’s Department Store

Judge Henry Harper - Knows his civic duty

Thomas Mara - Prosecuting Attorney

Charlie Halloran - Judge Harper’s political advisor

Miracle on 34th Street opens Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 7:30p.m. and will continue on weekends through December 30, 2015. Performances are Fridays at 7:30p.m., Saturdays at 2:15p.m. (except Opening Night) and 7:30p.m. and Sundays at 2:15p.m.  In addition to the weekend performances, there will be special weekday performances at 7:30p.m. on Monday, December 28, Tuesday December 29 and Wednesday, December 30, 2015. There will be no performance on Christmas Day.
