Concussion is a dramatic thriller based on the true story of Dr. Bennet Omalu (Will Smith); he was an American immigrant and a forensic neuropathologist. He was the first to discover the brain trauma caused by football. Dr Omalu shines a light on the ramifications of repeated play, such as brain deterioration. In the film, he goes up against one of the biggest industries the NFL. Not only does the film show this incredible man’s story but it will keep you on you’re toes.

Daddy’s Home – If you’re looking for a laugh on Christmas this would be your movie. Brad Taggart (Will Ferrel) is trying to be the best stepfather to his wife’s children. Once he starts to get their approval his wife’s ex-husband Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) comes back into town. The home turns into a battlefield as both men duke it out to be the best dad. The trailer itself is hilarious; we can’t wait to see the movie.

Joy – Though the critics are still up in the air about Joy, the trailer seems promising. Joy goes across four generation and focuses on Joy as founds the business Ingenious Designs. The story transgresses through Joy’s experiences facing betrayal and raising two children on her own. The cinematography looks amazing, and I’m sure Jennifer Lawrence will deliver an amazing performance.

Point Break is a remake of the cult favorite, with a great new cast and an exiting twist. For those who haven’t seen Point Break, it’s about extreme athletes with a Robin Hood complex. But how long before they get caught or someone gets hurt. Even though superfans don't seem to be into it, I would recommend giving it a try. The movie is thrilling and exciting—the perfect film for the action lovers.

The Hateful Eight – The brilliant Quentin Tarantino has seem to pull it off again! The buzz and rumors surrounding the movie is huge, and we're the most excited to see what Tarantino has in store. The film is about a bounty hunter, the hangman, who is traveling through a snowstorm to pay his bounty. When they stop at an outpost were there are eight other travels, they soon find out they not make it to their destination. A Quentin Tarantino film is the perfect way to end a Christmas. Available in select cities Christmas Day 2015. Available everywhere December 31, 2015.

The Revenant brings together two great actors Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hardy. The movie enwraps you in the stunning scenery that will take you on a daring adventure. Based on a true story, this film is about frontiersman Hugh Glass who is left behind by his fellow hunters after he is attacked by a bear. The story follows Glass as he embarks on a journey to get his revenge. This winter wonderland won’t be so joyful but it will be a cinematic adventure.
