Fall is in full swing, and we’re taking advantage of every moment! Here are some fun activities, rides and unique and delicious treats to experience at some of your local pumpkin patches and apple farms!

 

MONDAY

10/12, Apple Farm – Visit The Old Parrish Barn at Parrish Pioneer Ranch in Oak Glen from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Find delicious treats like apple butter, apple cider and apples, as well as gourmet chocolates and candies. The ranch is also home to a full restaurant and bakery, toy store, art studio, lots of animals and more.

 

TUESDAY

10/13, Rides – The ATV Ride at The Pumpkin Factory in Corona from 12p.m. to 9p.m. Take an exciting thrill ride around the pumpkin patch on The ATV Ride. The whole family will have fun on these two-seaters. Although the ride is recommended for children over four, children under four can ride with an adult. Keep in mind that seat belts are required and weight limit is 150 pounds. Other thrilling rides are The Bungee, The Bobbles (walk on water, anyone?), The Swing Ride, The Gators, The Train Ride, and that’s just the beginning. Visit their website to see for yourself.

 

WEDNESDAY

10/14, Apple Cider – Apple Cider Donuts at Snow-Line in Oak Glen from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Grab either a dozen or a half-dozen of these tasty donuts that are lightly sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. You can also go apple picking afterward, so don’t hesitate to attempt your own delicious and unique recipe with the kiddos after you've returned home. Also there is a tasting room if you’d like to try their wines and hard ciders.

 

THURSDAY


10/15, Apple Picking – U-Pick Apples at Riley’s at Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen from 9a.m. to 5p.m. You and the kids can pick from a huge variety of tasty apple trees. You will also find a country gift shop, bakery, BBQ, sandwiches and nature trails. Overall it’s full day of apple picking, family fun!

10/15, Pumpkin Patch – Rides and activities at Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Patch at Montclair Plaza from 1p.m. to 9p.m. While picking out pumpkins from the thousands that are at this pumpkin patch, the real fun is in the rides like slides, swings and pony rides, as well as exciting activities from petting zoos to face painting. Also, you won’t pay more than $20 for the pumpkin of your dreams.

 

FRIDAY

10/16, Apple Pie – Oak Glen Apple Pie at Law’s Oak Glen Coffee Shop in Oak Glen form 8a.m. to 7p.m. Nothing is better after a long day of apple picking than an authentic slice of apple pie. This family owned restaurant since 1953 serve’s Oak Glen’s Original Apple Pie. Taste the cinnamon sweetness of this signature pie, and stay for dinner, as they also are known for their Friday Night Dinner Specials.

10/16, Corn Maze – Attractions at Peltzer Farms Authentic Pumpkin Farm in Temecula. Pumpkin patch is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Some of the top attractions of this farm are the Railroad Ride, panning for gems at the Peltzer Mining Co. and Pony Rides from 3p.m. to 8p.m. They hold pig races from 5p.m. to 7p.m., Corn Maze from 9a.m. to 8p.m. and so much more!
