11/24, Arts & Crafts – Thanksgiving Craft at Casa Blanca Library in Riverside at 5p.m. School days go by a lot faster when there’s something exciting to look forward to at the end of the day! Give your children something to look forward to, and they can create a festive craft that will serve as one-of-a-kind décor during your holiday dinner.

11/25, Food Drive – Donate to Eat & Be Well at Seville Park and Cypress Neighborhood Center in Fontana from 11a.m.-3p.m.. Donate canned goods, a turkey, or $50 to feed a family of four. Teach your children what the holidays are really about, and give what you can to a local family.

THURSDAY

11/26, Turkey Trot – The 8th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk is happening at San Antonio Park in Upland. Check in and late registration is at 6:30a.m. Kids 1K starts at 7a.m. Adults 5K starts at 8a.m. Participation is free. You can choose to run or walk; either way you’re going to burn some calories before the big feast! You can even win medals and cash! Happy Thanksgiving!

11/26, 5K Run – Redlands Turkey Trot 5K around the University of Redlands. Kids 1K Fun Run begins at 7:30.a.m. Adult 5K begins at 8a.m. Registration is $15-35, discount with canned food donation. This run happens on the beautiful University of Redlands campus. Proceeds benefit both local and worldwide charities.

11/27, Pet Adoption – Black Friday Pet Adoption Event at Corona Animal Services & Shelter in Corona. If you’ve been thinking about bringing in another member of the family, then you might want to visit the animal shelter in Corona. Not only will you save a little cash on your adoption fee for their Black Friday special, but a furry friend will finally find its forever home, just in time for the holidays.

11/27, Holiday Lights – Wild Lights Holiday Light events at The Living Desert from 6-9p.m. Adult admission is $10, children $8, under three admitted free.
