Thanks for your patience this week – I know I’m making the prize announcement a day late.  I just had way too much fun in Big Bear that it took me a day to recover.  So without further ado, this week’s Facebook Fan of the Week prize is a 4-pack of tickets to the IE Auto Show. 

The Inland Empire Auto Show (IEAS), one of Southern California’s premier auto shows, is heading back to the Ontario Convention Center this August 24-26, 2012 and promises to be larger than last year with more auto makers, more sponsors and more activities for the whole family than ever before.  Featured at the event will be the hottest cars, trucks and alternative fuel vehicles showcased by Chrysler, Dodge, General Motors, Subaru, Toyota, Hyundai, Mazda, Subaru and more. The public will even have the chance to get behind the wheel and test many of the manufacturers’ cars in the special Inland Empire Auto Show Ride & Drive (first come, first serve basis).

IEAS also has a lot of great events planned for the weekend.  Friday is Great Taste Friday with some of the best area restaurants and wineries sampling their fare (from 5-8 p.m.).  On Saturday there will be a PGA Get Out & Golf Day from 3-8 p.m. with golf professionals on site with clubs, golf balls, putting greens, virtual practice driving ranges and more.  The pros will be giving expert golf tips and will have various giveaways and freebies.  Then on Sunday is the inaugural Walk for Wishes fundraiser (walk 1/2 mile to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire) on the Ontario Convention Center grounds. The festival will be filled with fun, food, prizes and more for walk participants. Everyone who participates in the Walk for Wishes also receives free admission into the IE Auto Show on Sunday. Plus, there’s also a Kids Zone on Sunday that should keep the kiddies entertained while mom and dad check out the sweet rides.

Plus, DEAL ALERT!  GM, Toyota and Chrysler will each give away 100 vouchers good for a free food item, good at any of the gourmet food trucks on site. Sign up to test drive early in the day to secure your voucher!
