RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

2/27, Berlin - Berlin is back at Romano's Concert Lounge. Wear your neon kicks and enjoy this '80s synth electro-pop bands. Tickets $25 in advance or $30 at door. Seating is limited.

2/27-3/1, Theater - “Pursued: A Jonah story” by Gold Leaf Theater at the Riverside Women’s Club Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $17 at the door.

2/28, Urban Adventure Hunt - Adventures in Old Riverside City Race beginning at 10 a.m. Register online, $40 per person.

2/28, The Provoke Era - Opening reception for new photography exhibit presenting the avant-garde photo tradition from Tokyo from the '60s-'80s. Organized by SFMOMA. Tickets $3

2/28-3/1, Automobiles - Tesla test-drive event at the Galleria at Tyler from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Appointments required for test drive over predetermined route. 

2/28, 3/1 and 3/5, Theater - The Homespun Players perform “Grimms: a Collection of Fairy Tales” at the Riverside Art Museum Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Free admission, donations accepted to benefit scholarships for children’s art classes.

2/28, Concert - Celtic Thunder at the Fox Performing Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $39.50-69.50.

2/28, Clean Comedy Fest - Enjoy a clean comedy show at Power of Faith Christian Worship Center. Tickets $10. Doors open with food & vendors at 6:30 p.m

3/1, Movie Festival – 7th annual Riverside Jewish Film Festival at Mission Grove Theaters beginning at 1 p.m. $10 each film of $25 for all three, students and kids 12 and under $6

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

2/27, Fundraiser - “A Walk in their Shoes” benefit diner and awareness event beginning at 6 p.m. at the Mitten Building. $75 each or $500 per table. Homeless youth awareness hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner and program after. Fundraiser benefits YouthHope.

2/27-28, Film Festival - Banff Mountain Film Festival at 7 p.m. each night at the Fox Events Center. Tickets are $15, proceeds benefit the San Gorgonio Wilderness Association.

2/28, Paint and Sip - Paint and Sip party at Fleur De Lis. Pot luck dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., class starts at 6. Class fee is $40.  

2/28, Concert - DC Cousins at Hangar 24 Brewery from 8:30-10 p.m.

2/28, To Kill A Mockingbird - Lifehouse Theater debuts To Kill a Mockingbird on Saturday. Tickets start at $18.

3/1, Anniversary - Third anniversary of à la minute from noon-9:30 p.m. $3 smalls and a new flavor introduction.

2/27, Concert - The English Beat at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7, tickets are $22 for the all-ages event.

2/28, Concert - Coolio at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $22 for the all-ages event.

2/28, Fundraiser -  “Peppermint Possibilities” dinner and unction to support Peppermint Ridge at Hidden Valley Gold Course. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., tickets are $50 each or $90 a couple.

 3/1, Concert - D Skyy CD release party and performances from other artists at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 presale for the 21 and over event.

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

2/28, Gardening - Garden design class at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden Grow Native Nursery from 10-11 a.m. Free discussion of pairings using color and texture. RSVP’s requested.


2/28, Comedy Central Comic - Hannibal Burress, the 2012 winner of Comedy Central's award for Best Club Comic visits Bridges Auditorium. Tickets start at $14.

3/1, Comedy Contest - Think you got what it takes to make the crowd laugh? First place voted by the audience wins $100. C'mon, bring it!

 

ONTARIO WEEKEND EVENTS

2/27-3/1, Comedy – Carlos Mencia at the Ontario Improv Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m., Saturday at 7:00 and 9:15 p.m., and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25-47, 21 and over event.

2/27-28, Wrestling – CIF Southern Section Masters Wrestling Meet at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Both days begin at 8:45 a.m. Tickets are $15 adults, $7 children. Parking is $5 cash.

2/28-3/1, Gun Show - Crossroads gun show at the Ontario Convention Center Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $14.

3/1, Soccer – Ontario Fury vs. Las Vegas Legends playoff game at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10-40, parking is $5 cash only.
