RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

3/27, Live Music - Head to Lake Alice for live band performances

3/27, Mission Tobacco Lounge - Los Esmiths, a tribute to The Smiths and Morrissey perform at 9 p.m. Tickets $10

3/27, Jazz & Funk - Shoppy, jazz dabblers & funk enthusiasts, perform with  Two Weeks Later and Steve Carson at Romano's Concert Lounge. Make table reservations. $10 entrance

3/28-29, Plant Sale  - Spring Plant Sale at University of California, Riverside’s Botanic Gardens Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nearly 10,000 plants available.

3/28, Air Show - Riverside Air Show at the Riverside Airport from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aircraft displays, aerobatics, vendors and more.  Free admission.

3/28, Brew with a View - Want to enjoy the Riverside Air Show but from the comfort of a brewery? Bring your lawn chair to Packinghouse Brewery and grab a seat. Live music, plenty of beer (and non-alcoholic drinks) and live entertainment. Also, our DIY/Craft contributing writer Mothership Scrapbook Gal will be there for crafts for the kiddos. Free admission.

3/28, Health Fair & Egg Hunt - Free health screenings, lunch and egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Bobby Bonds Park. Free event!

3/28, Film Festival - Cesar Chavez Film Festival at University of California Riverside’s ARTSBlock from 12-4 p.m. Free to the public.

3/28, Spring Eggstravaganza - Egg hunts, fun zone, petting zoo. Don't miss this super fun event at Ryan Bonamino Park

3/28, Concert - “New Wave Rave” featuring Strangelove, The Cured and more at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. 18 and over only, tickets are $10.

3/28, Worm Bin - Make your own free worm bin for composting, in Moreno Valley

3/28, Performance & Discussion - Free performance of "Slavery by Another Name" at the Perris Library, followed by discussion led by Dr. V.P. Franklin, Distinguished Professor of History and Education at UCR and Editor of The Journal of African American History

3/28-29, Pow Wow - Enjoy a weekend of Native American culture, crafts and food at the University of Redlands Greek Amphitheater. Free event

3/28, Fundraiser - 8th annual Grove School Monopoly Tournament at Grove School from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Children grades 6-12 and adults welcome to enter, see website for registration.

3/28, Festival - 25th annual Multicultural Festival at the University of Redlands quad from 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Food, craft vendors and activities for children.

3/28, Open House - Open house and tour of the Historical Glass Museum from 12-4 p.m. Free admission and refreshments. 2 p.m. tour detailing lives of Seymour Family.

3/28, Fundraiser – Red Wine and Blues fundraiser at the Redlands Country Club from 4-7 p.m. Food, wine, auctions and more. 21 and over event, admission is $75 a person. Event raises money for Rotary programs.

3/28, Concert - Hammerhead release at Hangar 24 with live music from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Strangebrew Band from 12-3 p.m., The Dares from 8-10 p.m. Limited release beers and coffee beans available.

3/29, Art Walk - Art Walk at Ed Hales Park in downtown Redlands from 12-6 p.m.

3/28, Theater - “Sister Act” at the California Theater of the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $38-77.

3/28, Free 5K & Expo - Arrowhead Regional Medical Center hosts a free 5K and fitness expo in Colton, starting at 7 a.m.

3/28, Color Vibe 5K - The Color Vibe 5K comes to San Bernardino County Fairground. Prepare to get colorful. Tickets $42.95

3/29, Swing Dance - Sunday Swing Dancing at AMF Arrowhead Lanes, starting at 5:15 p.m. Class & Dance - $12. Dance only - $8

 

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

3/27, Concert - “Punk’s Not Dead” concert featuring Luicidal, WhiteKaps and more at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 for the all-ages show.

2/28, Memorial – Photo memorial of veterans who died from war wounds suffered since 9/11 displayed at City Hall from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Ceremony at 10 a.m. in front of veteran memorial in front of City Hall.

3/28, Concert - Three Bad Jacks at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 presale, $20 at the door for the 21 and over show.

 

CHINO WEEKEND EVENTS

3/28, Boxing - Saturday Night Fights amateur boxing competition at the Neighborhood Activity Center from 6-9 p.m. Admission is $15.

3/28, Car Show - Corn Feed Car Show and Cruise at the Chino Civic Center from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Open header contest 1-2 p.m.

 

UPLAND WEEKEND EVENTS

3/28, Fundraiser - Phenom Poker Fundraiser from 6 p.m.-1 a.m. at Imagine That. Poker, music and dancing, proceeds benefit Phemon [MM1] Baseball. Tickets are $75 for poker players before, $100 day of event. Spectators $25, rebuys $25, all-you-can-drink for $25.

 

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

3/26-29, Convention – Family Motor Coach Association 2015 convention at the Fairplex. Admission for motorhome exhibition is $7 a day, active military are free and ages 12 and under admitted free with adult. Parking $10 at Gate 9.

3/27, Concert - Mod Sun and others at The Glass House beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16-50 for the all-ages show.

3/27, Art of Music - Regional high school art exhibit. Free event at the Millard Sheets Art Center

Weekends through 5/3, Walks - Weekend windflower walks at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. Walks are over an hour in length, included with garden membership or admission, $8 for adults, students and seniors $6, $4 for ages 3-12.
