Defense Arts Center has been serving the Inland Empire for over 44 years teaching traditional martial arts for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. The variety of classes, taught by experienced professional instructors include karate-do, kendo, laido, kobudo, judo, aikido and more. 4/2, Fishing – Aaron’s Big Bear Lake Bass Tournament qualifying tourney at Big Bear Lake. Team tournament entry fee $180, see website for entry form and details. Cash prizes.

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS  

4/1, Concert - 80z Allstars at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7p.m., tickets are $15 for the 18 and over event.

4/2, Concert - DayZero and Friends at M15 Concert Bar and Grill/ Doors open at 7p.m., tickets are $10 for the all-ages event.

4/2, Festival - Garden Festival Family Event from 10a.m.-2p.m. with the Water Saving Garden Friendly City Hall demonstration gardens. Kids activities, local businesses, education and more. Free event.

 

FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS 

4/1-3, Racing - The 5th Annual NMCA WEST Spring Nationals at the Auto Club Dragway with bracket racing ad autocross. Free parking and pit access, entry is $20. Kids 12 and under free.

4/1-10, RV Show – Giant RV Spring Show at the Fairplex at Gate 9 from 9a.m.-7p.m. Free admission. 

4/2, Run - Pomona Valley Workshop Annual Run/Walk for Adults with Disabilities at the Fairplex at 7a.m. with 5K and 1K events. $5 pancake breakfast until 10a.m.

4/2, Dance - World of Dance urban dance competition at the Fairplex buildings 7 and 9 from 2-10p.m. Tickets are $40.

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS
 
4/1, Car Show - A Lot Full of VW’s car show and concert by All Marbles Band at The Mitten Building at 6p.m. Free for spectators, $10 for car spots.

4/2-5/1, Theater - Moses at LifeHouse Theater Fridays at 7:30p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 and 7:30p.m. and Sundays at 2:15p.m. Tickets are $16-20 for adults, $8-10 for children 3-11, under 3 not admitted. Tickets $1 more day of show.

4/2-10, Trains – Train Days at the San Bernardino County Museum with model trains, special exhibits and more. Kicks off Saturday with an 11a.m. bid for the longest Soul Train dance Guinness World Record. Participation is free with museum admission of $5-10.

4/2, Festival - Living on Common Ground Multicultural Festival at the University of Redlands Quad from 11a.m.-6:30p.m. Performances and vendors, children’s crafts and more. Free admission.

4/2, Festival - Paint our Town Blue event in honor of World Autism Day in downtown Redlands from 11a.m.-4p.m. Special sales at participating businesses, and activities at Ed Hales Park including characters and a fashion show. Free event.

Now through 4/3, Theater - When We Were Young and Unafraid at The Box in the Fox Entertainment Plaza Fridays and Saturdays at 8p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2p.m. Tickets are $25.

4/1-10, Art - The Plein Air Artists of Riverside 11th annual Paint Out at various locations, kicking off Friday at the Riverside Art Museum. See website for information and sign ups.
