RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

 6/5-6, Theater - Les Miserables at The Fox Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Tickets are $89-107.  

6/5, Crafts - Kaleidoscope: Paper Takes Shape at the Galleria at Tyler from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.  Handmade vendors, DIY activities and free kids crafts.

6/6, Celebration - 15th annual Riverside Juneteenth Celebration beginning at 12 p.m. Food, entertainment and education, free event.

6/6, Live Music - Mission Persons featuring Dale Bozzio at Romano’s Concert Lounge at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22.50 at the door.

6/6, Fundraiser - Inaugural “I Am HOPE” Walkathon from 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Martha McLean – Anza Narrows Park. Registration is $25 adults, $15 for youth 12 and under, 4 or more adults $20 each. Benefits the HOPE Collaborative.

6/6, Swimming - Synchro Show synchronized swimming showcase at the Riverside City College’s Aquatics Complex  at 2 p.m.featuring the Riverside Aquettes.

6/6, Casino Night - Casino Night fundraiser benefitting the So CA Tri-Counties Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. Event is from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Riverside Town Center. Single admission is $20, partner admission $15, register online.

6/6, Clean Comedy - Clean Comedy at Power of Faith Christian Worship Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.

6/7, Early Riverside – “Spring Rancheria: A transient Cahuilla Village in Early Riverside” from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum. Free to the public.

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

 6/6, Live band @ Hangar - Skunkdub at Hangar 24 from 8-10 p.m. Local Fields Essence release.

6/6, Hunger Walk - Redlands Hunger Walk to benefit Family Service Association of Redlands beginning at 8 a.m. Registration is $30, proceeds will fund summer nutrition program.

6/6, Gardening - Make and take succulent gardening workshop including gardening and using in floral wreaths and more. Tickets are $60, see site for details.

SAN BERNARDINO WEEKEND EVENTS

6/5-14, Theater - “Once On This Island” at the University Theater at Cal State San Bernardino Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. 

6/5, Swimming - Summer Swimfest Operation Splash from 12-5:30 p.m. at the Jerry Lewis Swim Center at Perris Hill Park. Presentation from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Free admission, first come, first served.

6/6, Races - SoCal Vintage MX Classic  at Glen Helen Raceway. Races are from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., practice before. Gate admission is $10 adult, $5 kids 6-12.

6/7, Swing Dance - Sunday swing dancing at AMF Arrowhead Lanes. Classes start at 5:20, free dance 7-9:30 p.m. Dancing is $8, dancing and class $12.


   

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

 6/4-7, Carnival - Carnival at The Shops at Dos Logos Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday 2-11 p.m. and Sunday 2-11 p.m. Tickets required for rides, prices vary from 22 for $20 to 110 for $100. Single ticket $1.

6/5, Concert - Return of the King: Michael Jackson Tribute at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 presale, $20 at the door for the all-ages event.

6/6, Antiques - Corona Antiques and Collectibles Faire at the Corona Heritage Park & Museum from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

6/5-7, Yard Sale – Citywide yard sale throughout Pomona. See city website for information.

6/5-6, Robotics - DARPA Robotics Chalenge Finals from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Fairplex. Competition demonstrates human-supervised robot technology for disaster response, free admission for spectators, parking at Gate 17 at prevailing rates.


6/6, Horse Racing – Belmont Stakes Day at the Fairplex’s Finish Line Sports Grill Fun. Wagering and watching the race on flat screens. Free admission, park at Gate 12.

6/7, Car Show - Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show at the Fairplex from 5 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission is $10, children 12 and under admitted free. Parking is $10 at Gate 17.

 

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS 


6/5, Art Walk - First Friday Art Walk ‘All You Can Eat’ art show from 6-8 p.m. at the Ginger Elliot Exhibition Space at Memorial Park.   

6/6, Walking Tour - Guided walking tour of historic Claremont beginning at 10 a.m. Meets at Claremont Depot, reservation required, $5 a person.

6/6, Art - Art in the Garden event at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Art exhibit and sale. Garden admission is $8 adults, $6 seniors and students, $4 for ages 3-12.

6/6, Workshop - “The Basics of Salad Dressings and Vinaigrettes” at VOM FASS at 9 a.m. Registration is $25.

6/7, Cocktails - Summer cocktail tasting at VOM FASS at 1 p.m. Taste and take home recipes for 4 cocktails, appetizers served.  Complimentary class.

6/7, Market - A Whimsical Flea Market from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Garner House courtyard.

 


 
ONTARIO WEEKEND EVENTS

6/5-6, Comedy - Mo’Nique at the Improv Comedy Club Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. and Saturday at 7 and 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $40 for the 21 and over event, dress code and two-item minimum.

6/6-7, Trains - Big Train Show at the Ontario Convention Center Saturday from 1- a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $10 presale, $14 for two-day pass, $12 at the door and kids 12 and under are free.

6/6,Water Wise - Water-wise landscaping workshop at the Ovitt Family Community Library from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Part one of a two-part class, covers preparation and design.

6/6, Car Show  - 21st annual Inland Valley Street Rods Rally & Cruise from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.on Euclid Ave. Live music, vendors, Pinewood Derby and more.  

6/7, Comedy - Jen Murphy and Julio Gonzales at the Improv Comedy Club at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the 18 and over event, dress code and two-item minimum.


   

RANCHO CUCAMONGA & FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 6/7, Theater – “Hooray for Hollywood!” at Tibbies Center Stage Fontana Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

6/4-7, Festival – Fontana Days Festival Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 1-10 p.m. Admission is $1, rides cost extra. Live entertainment, vendors and more.

6/5-7, Racing - 5th Annual West Coast Shootout at the Auto Club Dragway. Spectator 3-day admission $55, 2-day $35, single days $20 and kids 12 and under free. Coupon available online.

6/5, Concert - Gold Rush Country at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill at 9 p.m. Free admission.

6/6, Parade – Fontana Days Parade starts at 11 a.m. at the corner of Arrow Blvd. and Sierra Ave.

6/6-7, Racing - ChumpCar World Series at the Auto Club Speedway. Races are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. both days, see website for more information.

PERRIS & LAKE ELSINORE WEEKEND EVENTS

6/6, Car Show - Inland Empire Classic Mustang Club from 12-3 p.m. at the Perris Speedway. Free admission, show fee is $10. Show benefits Operation Homefront.

6/6, Fishing – Just 4 Kids fishing derby at La Laguna Resort & Boat Launch from 7:30-10:30 p.m. For ages 15 and younger.



BIG BEAR WEEKEND EVENTS

6/6, Wine Walk - Big Bear Village Summer Wine Walk from 3:30-7 p.m.. Tickets are $45, food-only $20, purchase online or at UPS Store.

6/6, Recital – Summer Voice Recital at the Big Bear Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults, students $9, seniors $11.

6/6, Bike Ride - Wellness SLOW ride beginning at The Copper Q at 8:30 a.m. 5-10 mile beginners ride. Intermediate and advanced community ride begins at 9 a.m. Mountain bike ride begins at Chains Required Bike Shop at  9 a.m.


PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through  7/31, Exhibit - Robert Heinecken Photograms at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Museum open Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursdays 12-8 p.m. Admission is $12.50 adults, $5 for student and free for active military and children 12 and under.

TEMECULA WEEKEND EVENTS

6/6, Trails - National Trails Day celebration at the Temecula Community Center at 9 a.m. included ribbon cutting of the Murietta Creek Regional Trail, vendors and more. Free event, wear walking shoes.

6/6, Festival - 7th annual Microbrew and Craft Festival at Pechanga Resort & Casino from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $50, designated driver is $3, includes tasting tickets, chili samples and live entertainment.

6/6, Concert – Country Live! At the Temecula Community Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.

6/7, Concert - Frankie Ballard at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. Doors open at 6 p.m., tickets are $50-110, all ages concert.
