INLAND EMPIRE WEEKEND EVENTS

RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 1/3, Festival - Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn nightly. Carriage rides available around the Mission Inn, skating rink downtown, visits with Santa. See website for more details.

12/12, Crafty Happy Hour - Drink, Craft & Be Merry at the last CHH of the year at Packinghouse Brewering Co. $5-$10 per craft project - holiday cards and a B.Y.O. Sweater Ugly Sweater Craft kits

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

12/13, Craft -  Free Christmas crafts at A.K Smiley Public Library  beginning at 10:30 a.m. for grades K-6 while supplies last.

12/13, Santa Party -The Frugal Frigate, A Children's Bookstore (9 North 6th Street) hosts a Santa party with live music, snacks, crafts, free gift wrapping, giveaways, story time and more! Visit 5-7 p.m. and capture the magic.

 

SAN BERNARDINO WEEKEND EVENTS

12/13-18, Parade - Ho Ho Parade through San Bernardino begins Saturday beginning and ending at Perris Hill Park and continues next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout San Bernardino. Parade on Saturday begins at 5:30 p.m., check website for route and other parade day details.

 

CHINO WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12, Parade and Fair - Christmas Parade and Fair from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Parade begins at corner of Riverside Dr. and Yorba Ave. and ends at City Hall. Fair includes carnival rides, vendors, food and entertainment.

 

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12, Concert - “Urban Skies: A Tribute to Keith Urban” at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at  7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the 21 and over event.

12/13, Airplanes - Antique aircraft on display beginning at 9 a.m. at Corona Municipal Airport by the Corona Pilots Association. Pilots will be available to answer questions. Event is free to the public.

12/13, Snow Day - Snow day at The Shops at Dos Logos from 1-4 p.m.

 

UPLAND WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12 Art Exhibit - Reception for featured artist Alex Torrez at Rök House Brewing Company from 5-9 p.m. Roger’s Dry Rub will be serving poutine at the event.

12/13, Concert - “The Golden Era of Harmony II” featuring The Vogies, The Crystals and Reunion at Upland High School’s Highlander Auditorium. Concert begins at 3 p.m., tickets are $39-69.

12/14, Shopping - “Shop ‘Til You Drop” from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in downtown Upland. Over 100 vendors available.

 

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12, Concert - Pomona Concert Band Christmas Concert at Palomares Park Community Center at 7:30 p.m. Family-friendly free event.

12/13, Concert - Rx Bandits at The Glass House beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18-22 for the all-ages event.

12/13, Party  – Holiday beer release, music and menu from Pappa’s Artisanal from 4-10 p.m. at Dale Bros Brewery. $10 includes keepsake glass and first fill. Portion of proceeds benefit Helping Hands Pantry.

Now through 12/19, Art Exhibit – Artists for Art’s Sake at the Fairplex’s Millard Sheets Art Center Friday through Sunday 12-5 p.m. or by appointment.  Proceeds from sales of art benefit art education programs at the center.

 

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 12/27, Theater - “It’s Christmas Every Day” at the Candelight Pavilion Dinner Theater. Dinner and show ticket are $53-68. Performances are Wednesdays through Sundays. Thursdays, Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., Sunday at 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sunday matinees at 11 a.m.


12/12-13, 19-20, Luminaria –Evening walks with live acoustic music over a half mile of luminarium -lit trails through the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden from 6-9 p.m. First night is for members only, check website for musical lineup and purchase tickets. Admission is $5 per person, children under 3 free.

12/13-14, 20-21,  Ballet - Inland Pacific Ballet performs ‘The Nutcracker” at Bridges Auditorium Satudays at 1 and 7 p.m., Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $42-59.

12/13, Herb Walk - Medicinal herb walk through Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Fee is $20 for garden members, $25 for public. Register online, bring water and snack.

 

ONTARIO WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12-13, Comedy - Brad Williams at the Ontario Improv. Tickets are $18 for the 18 and over show, two item minimum. Performances are Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m., Saturday at 7 and 9;15 p.m.

12/13, Concert - X 103.9’s Merry Meltdown concert at Citizens Business Bank Arena beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.39-59.50, bring $10 cash for parking.

 

RANCHO CUCAMONGA WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12, Toy Drive - NBC4 broadcasting live from in front of Santa’s Cottage at Victoria Gardens at 5 and 6 p.m. Bring unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots.

12/13, Theater - ‘A Very Electric Christmas’ performed in darkness with light technology at the Lewis Family Playhouse at 2 and 7 p.m. tickets are $23, $21 senior and $16 youth.

12/13, Fishing - Trout derby at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 fee per entrant, $10 parking fee in park. 

12/14, Concert -  Rockapella performs at the Lewis Family Playhouse at 2 p.m. Tickets are $28-35 general admission, $28-33 senior.

 

FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 12/31, weekends  Theater – Holiday Follies performances at Tibbies Center Stage Fontana Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Show only general admission $18, dinner and show is $39.95-59.95, children $29.95.

12/13, Exotics - Take a few laps around the Auto Club Speedway behind the whel in an exotic car or ride along with a professional driver. Ride alongs begin at $99, driving begins at $199. See website for details and registration.

12/13, Drag Racing - Stree-legal drag racing at Auto Club Dragway. REquires street-legal car, license and proof of registration. Tickets and tech open at 7 a.m., races begin at 9 a.m. Driver entry fee is $20, spectators are $10.

12/14, Test n Tune - Open test and tune event at Auto Club Dragway. Ticket sales and tech begins at 7 a.m., races start at 9 a.m. Drivers are $50, spectator and crew are $10. 

 

LAKE ELSINORE WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12, Movie – ‘The Santa Clause’ showing at Summerlake Park from 6-8 p.m. Bring your own seating and snacks for the free event.

 

 HEMET WEEKEND EVENTS

12/14, Triathalon - The 29th annual Tinsel Triathalon and 5K at West Valley High School. Registration online available, day of registration begins at 7 a.m. Race begins at  9 a.m. Fees are $65-90 for individuals for triathalon, $30-35 for 5K. Team registration available.

 

PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND EVENTS

12/12-14, Birthday - "Weekend at Sinatra's event to celebrate Frank Sinatra'sa 99th birthday at his Twin Palms estate in Palm Springs. Parties, entertainment and more, $225 a person for both days. See website for details.

12/13-14, Festival - Desert Arts Festival at Frances Stevens Park from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Parking and admission is free.

 

BIG BEAR WEEKEND EVENTS

12/13, Bird Watching - Bald Eagle count to aid the USFS. Volunteers meet at the Discovery Center between 8-8:30am. Actual count 9-10 a.m. Dress warmly and bring binoculars.

12/13 & 20, Santa -  'Santa Claws' at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Zoo admission required.

12/14, Concert - "Jingle and Jazz" holiday party at the Other Room from 3-6 p.m. $15 ticket includes wine and appetizers. Tickets available at No Name Pizza

 

TEMECULA WEEKEND EVENTS

12/10-14, Theater- Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol” performed at Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Tickets are $10 for students, seniors, teachers and uniformed services otherwise $20-25 on Thursdays. $15-25 Fridays, $20-25 Saturday and Sunday, group rates available. Check website for performance schedule.

12/11-1/4, Ice Skating  - Ice Skating in front of City Hall  Sunday –Thursday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-11:30 p.m., and Christmas Day 12 -9:30 p.m. Admission is $10, skate rental is $4, skating aid rental $6.

12/13,  Santa- Breakfast, carolers and a visit at Santa’s Workshop from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.at the Community Center. $7 a person, wait list and special needs reservations available.
