WEEKEND EVENTS IN MULTIPLE CITIES

10/16-25, Dining – Inland Empire Restaurant Week in participating restaurants around the Inland Empire. See website for participating restaurant locations and menus.

 

RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 11/1, Family Event – Happy Hauntings at Castle Park for kids ages 12 and under. Pumpkin carving, costume contest and trick-or-treating. Admission free for events, additional cost for pumpkin carving contest.

Now through 10/31, Pumpkin Patch – The Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch at Live Oak Canyon beginning at 9a.m. Admission is $3 on the weekends; activities and pumpkins are an additional cost.

Now through 10/31, Exhibit – "Into the WILD" art show at Stone Wheel Olive Oil Company. Opening reception Saturday from 4-7p.m.

Now through 10/25 weekends, TheaterThe Kitchen Witches at Redlands Footlighters Friday and Saturday at 8p.m. and Sunday at 2p.m. Tickets are $15. 

10/9-17, weekends, TheaterThe Apple Tree at Cal Baptist University’s Wallace Theater Friday at 7:30p.m. and Saturday at 2p.m. and 7:30p.m. General admission is $15, seniors $12, students and staff $10-12.

10/16, Craft – Crafty Happy Hour with Mothership Scrapbook Gal and music from The Traveling Standstills at Packinghouse Brewing Co. at 5p.m. Free entry, cost for craft supplies.

10/16, Astronomy – “The Fall Sky” presentation at Dixon Planetarium at 7p.m. Admission is $2.50-5, cash or check only.

10/16, Concert – Experimental Indie Rock Night featuring Verses the Octopus at Romano’s Concert Lounge at 8p.m. Admission is $5 for the 21 and over event.

10/16, Concert – Jagermeister presents a Wild Evening with Halestrom at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 7:30p.m. Tickets are $25.

10/17, Fundraiser – Fundraiser walk for Frank Augustus Miller Middle School beginning at 9a.m. 5K walk and carnival. See website for registration form.

10/17, Science – Riverside BioBlitz at the Ameal Moore Nature Center from 10a.m.-4p.m. and 6-9p.m. Bring water, snacks, sensible shoes and download Nature Spotter app before attending.

10/17, Open House – The Commemorative Air Force Inland Empire Wing’s Open House and Silent Auction at Riverside Municipal Airport from 12-8p.m. Free admission and parking, entertainment, plane rides, food vendors and more.

10/17, Zombie Walk – Riverside Zombie Crawl through Downtown Riverside from 2-6p.m. Zombie-themed carnival, kids activities and parade with zombies and survivalists.

10/17, Resource Fair – My Play Club Carnival and Disability Resource Fair at Fairmount Park from 10a.m.-2p.m. Carnival games, activities and live entertainment. Free admission.

10/17, Storytelling – Tales from the Victorian Crypt II with actors portraying Charles Dickens and Edgar Allen Poe at Evergreen Cemetery from 6-9p.m. Tickets are $25, limited.

10/17, Concert – All Beethoven Concert with the La Sierra University Orchestra at La Sierra University’s Hole Memorial Auditorium at 7p.m. Free admission.

10/18, Trunk or Treat – Trunk or Treat grand opening event for Evolution Motorsports Auto and Sound Car Show from 1-5p.m. Vendors, raffle, costumes and trick or treating. Free admission.

10/18, Concert – Common Kings at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 7p.m. Tickets are $25.

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 11/8, weekends, TheaterPride and Prejudice at Lifehouse Theater Fridays at 7:30p.m., Saturdays at 2:15p.m. and 7:30p.m. and Sundays at 2:15p.m. Tickets are $7-9 for children under 12, $14-18 for adults, $1 more day of show.

10/16-18, Art Show – "Art For Heaven’s Sake" art show at Redlands United Church of Christ Friday 7-10p.m., Saturday 10a.m.-5p.m. and Sunday 11:30a.m.-5p.m.

10/17, Plant Sale – Redlands Horticultural & Improvement Society’s Uncommon Plant Sale at the Propagation Yard in Prospect Park from 9a.m.-4p.m.

 

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

10/17, Concert – Berlin Featuring Terri Nunn at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Tickets are $20, doors open at 7p.m. for the all-ages event.

10/17, Run – Heroes vs. Villains 5K and Flag Gauntlet beginning at 4p.m. and 6p.m. See website for details.

10/18, Concert – Unsigned Band Industry Night at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 4p.m., tickets are $10 for the 18 and over event.

 

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 10/18, RV Show – 63rd Annual California RV Show at the Fairplex 10a.m.-6p.m. daily. Vendors, entertainment, ferris wheel and more. $10 single-day admission $15 for multi-day. Parking is $10 at Gate 9 for autos.

10/16-24, weekends, Oktoberfest – Oktoberfest at the Fairplex Fridays and Saturdays 6-11p.m. Entry is $5 for the 21 and over event, food and drinks extra. Parking $15 at Gate 17.

10/16, Concert – Deafhaven at The Glass House at 8:30p.m. Tickets are $16-18 for the all-ages event.

10/16, Concert – Run The Jewels at the Fox Theater Pomona at 9p.m. Tickets are $25, $30 day of show for the all-ages event.

10/17-18, Festival – Pumpkin Festival at Cal Poly Pomona from 8a.m.-5p.m. Pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting zoo and pie eating contests. Tickets are $2-4, activity tickets are $1 or sold in packs, family admission available.

10/17, Grand Opening – Grand Opening Party for Old Stump Brewing Co. from 12-10p.m. $5 pints, live entertainment and food trucks.

10/17, Concert – Marina and the Diamonds at Fox Theater Pomona at 9p.m. Tickets are $30 before, $33 day of show for the all-ages event.

10/17, Concert – Evidence and other groups in concert at The Glass House at 9p.m. Tickets are $20 for the all-ages event.

10/18, Swap Meet – Pomona Swap Meet and Classic Car Show from 5a.m.-2p.m. at the Fairplex’s main lot. General admission is $10, children 12 and under free. Parking is $10 at Gate 17.

10/16-18, Racing – NMCA West Street Car Nationals at the Auto Club Dragway. Races start Saturday and Sunday at 8a.m., tickets are $20-55, kids under 12 are admitted free. Coupon available on website.

10/18, Brunch – Banana Pancake Brunch at the Lewis Family Playhouse at 10a.m. Tickets are $10, $8 with a ticket to current play.

 

BIG BEAR WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 11/1, Zoo – Flashlight Safari at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo from 6:30-8:30p.m. Explore the zoo after dark with nocturnal animals. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for seniors and kids 3-10, under three admitted free. 

Now through 10/31, weekends, Oktoberfest – Big Bear Oktoberfest at the Convention Center. Kids activities, dancing beer, German food and live music. See website for packages.

10/17, Concert – The Kiefer Sutherland Band at The Cave at 7:30p.m. Tickets are $15-30.

10/17, Zoo – Wolf Awareness Day at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo from 11a.m.-3p.m. Admission for the zoo is $9-12.
