RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

1/29, Fitness – Fit after 50 exercise program at 9:30a.m. at Woodcrest Library. Free participation.

1/29, Craft – Crochet and Knitting Club at Woodcrest Library at 3p.m. Free participation, bring preferred hooks or needles.

1/30, Concert – “Sonic Glories” performed by the Riverside County Philharmonic at the Fox Performing Arts Center at 7:30p.m. Tickets are $31-101.

1/29, Discussion – Inlandia presents an author conversation with poets Heather Alfred and Troy Jollimore at The Culver Center from 7-8:30p.m.

1/29, Event – Celebrate Our Voice event to inform and enable the public against potential new developments in the La Sierra Hills at Mexicali Bar from 7-10p.m. Live music, $5 donation requested.

1/29, Concert – Crooked Coast at Mission Tobacco Lounge at 9p.m.

1/30, Festival – Lunar Festival in Downtown Riverside from 10a.m.-7p.m. Food, crafts and exhibits, children’s area, fireworks and more. Free admission.

1/30, Plane Wash – CBU Flight School plane wash fundraiser at Riverside Municipal Airport from 10a.m.-4p.m. $50 for single prop, $75 for multi-prop.

1/31, Festival – La Sierra University’s Festival of Nations from 4-7p.m. in the university’s gymnasium. Live entertainment, kids activities and more. Free entry.

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

Now through 1/31, Theater – 12 Angry Jurors at LifeHouse Theater Fridays at 7:30p.m., Saturdays at 2:15p.m. and 7:30p.m., and Sunday at 2:15p.m. Tickets are $10-20 adults, $8-10 kids. 

1/30, Concert – Naked Walrus at Hangar 24 at 6:30p.m.

1/30, Bridal Show – Fox Banquet and Events Center Bridal Show from 10a.m.-2p.m. Free admission, vendors available.

1/30, Mardi Gras – Mardi Gras-style celebration Trinity Episcopal Church from 7-10p.m. Traditional foods, raffle, live entertainment and more. $25 a person.

1/31, Run – Highland Y Run with 5K, 10K kids fun run and half marathon through Highland. Races begin at 7:30-9a.m., registration is $25-50 plus $10 fee day or race registration. See website for details.

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

 1/29, Dance – Latin Night at M15 Concert Bar and Grill beginning at 9p.m. ages 21 and over only, free event.

1/30, Concert – Jack Russel’s Great White at M15 Concert Bar and Grill at 7p.m. Tickets are $22 for the all-ages event.

 

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

1/29-31, Car Show – The 67th Annual O’Reilley Grand National Roadster Show at The Fairplex. Friday hours are 12-8p.m., Saturday 10a.m.-8p.m. and Sunday 10a.m.-6p.m. Admission is $125 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 6-12, and 5 and under admitted free.

1/29, Concert – R5 with Ryland and Parade of Lights at the Fox Theater Pomona at 7p.m. Tickets are $25-35.

1/29, Concert – Indie Rock Dance Party at Acerogami at 9p.m. Admission is free for the 21 and over event.

1/30, Concert – The Mirage Theory at The Glass House at 7p.m. Tickets are $10-12 for the all-ages show.


CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

1/29-30, Comedy – Jerry Rocha from Conan Friday at 8p.m. and 10p.m. and Saturday at 7p.m. and 9:30p.m. Tickets are $20, dinner and show package available.

1/30, Tea reading – Tea leaf and oracle card reading at Buddhamouse Emporium starting at 3p.m. Sessions are $30 for 30-minute reading.


 

ONTARIO WEEKEND EVENTS

1/28-3/27, Exhibit – “Slot Canyons: Nature’s Abstract Art” at the Chaffey Museum of Art. Free admission.

1/29-31, Anime – Anime Los Angeles Expo at the Ontario Convention Center and Radisson Ontario Airport.  Masquerade, fashion shows, exhibitors and more. See website for schedule and registration. Single day is $35, full weekend $60. 

1/29-30, Comedy – Bob Saget at the Ontario Improv Comedy Club Friday at 7:30p.m. and 9:45p.m., and Saturday at 7p.m. and 9:15p.m. Tickets are $25 for the 21 and over event.

1/29, Soccer – Ontario Fury vs. Sacramento Surge at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 7p.m. Tickets are $10-40, parking is $10 cash.

1/31, Reception – Artists’ reception for “Expressions” exhibit at the Chaffey Museum of Art at 2p.m. Free event.

1/31, Fundraiser – Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Charity Shoe at the Ontario Improv Comedy Club at 4p.m. Tickets are $20 for the 18 and over event.

1/31, Comedy – Jay and Silent Bob Get Old Podcast at the Ontario Improv Comedy Club at 7p.m. Tickets are $25 for the 18 and over event.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA WEEKEND EVENTS

1/30-2/14, weekends, Theater – Fairytales Unscripted at the Lewis Family Playhouse Saturdays at 1p.m. and 4p.m. and Sunday at 1p.m. Tickets are $18 general, $16 for seniors and youth.  

1/30, Fishing – Adult fishing workshop at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park from 8a.m.-1p.m. $10 per person paid in advance, plus $10 vehicle fee. Ages 16 and over only, tackle provided.

1/31, Fundraiser – Wine tasting and hors d’eouvres fundraiser for Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Services at Antonio’s from 2-4p.m. $30 per individual or $50 per couple.

 

FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS

1/29-31, Racing – Racing with the California Sports Car Club at the Auto Club Speedway from 8a.m.-4p.m. See website for registration details.

1/30-31, Racing – SoCal Drag Racing and SoCal Super Street Racing at the Auto Club Dragway. Racing starts at 8a.m. on Saturday and 8:30a.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 per day for spectators, see website for registration.

1/30, Racing – Drive or ride-along in an exotic at the Auto Club Speedway beginning at $99 for a ride-along or $199 for a drive. See website for details

1/30-31, Wine Tasting – Temecula Valley Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend through the Temecula area from 11a.m.-4p.m. Single day tickets with 16 wineries are available Saturday or Sunday for $78, two-day tickets are $128 for up to 32 wineries.

1/30, Comedy – Improv Comedy at The Merc at 8p.m. Tickets are $8-12, 13 and over only.

1/31, Concert – Cabaret at The Merc at the Old Town Temecula Community Center at 7p.m. Tickets are $20.
