Pumpkins, apples and fall color, oh my! Everything is bathed in warm golden light in fall as we break out our boots, scarves and favorite jackets to wear as chill comes over the Inland Empire.

 

INLAND EMPIRE FALL EVENTS

BIG BEAR FALL EVENTS

10/1-30, Zoo – Flashlight Safari at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo. Tour starts at 7 p.m., admission is $9-$12, 3 and younger admitted free. Dress warmly.

 

CLAREMONT FALL EVENTS

10/1-2, Ghost Walk - 4th annual Claremont Ghost Walk through Claremont Village beginning at 6 p.m. 75 minute tours are family friendly, $15 a person.

10/14-11/19, Theater – “Sister Act” at the Candlelight Pavilion Thursday-Sunday evenings and weekend matinees. Tickets start at $58 a person for adults, show includes dinner.

10/22, Fair - Village Venture Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Food and craft vendors, live entertainment, Halloween costume parade at 9:30 a.m.

11/11-12, Festival - Pilgrim Place Festival from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. with crafts, vendors and more. Free admission.

 

CORONA FALL EVENTS

10/22, Festival - Chocolate, Wine and Jazz at the Corona Civic Center from 5-9 p.m. Tickets are $75 a person.

10/15, Concert - Corona Symphony Orchestra performs the new Circle City Suite at Northpoint Church at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.

10/29, Run/Walk - The Heroes vs. Villains 5K and Flag Gauntlet at Corona High School beginning at 4 p.m. Register online.

 

FONTANA FALL EVENTS

10/2, Car Show - Bugorama at the Auto Club Dragway with car show and racing. See site for details.

11/20, Racing - Import Face-Off with racing, contests, exhibitions and more.

10/21-11/13, Theater - “The Addams Family” at Tibbies Center Stage Fontana with show only tickets for $20 or dinner packages starting at $44. See website for schedule.

 

JOSHUA TREE FALL EVENTS

10/6-9, Festival - Joshua Tree Music Festival at the Joshua Tree Lake Campground with live music, yoga, and art exhibits. Camping, single and multi-day passes available.

10/14-16, Festival - Desert Daze at the Institute of Mentalphysics with camping, single and three-day passes available. Live music, food trucks, vendors and stories.

 

OAK GLEN FALL EVENTS

Through 10/21, Dinner Theater - “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" dinner theater at Hawk’s Head Tavern at Riley’s Farm Fridays and Saturdays. Seasonal activities and a three-act play. Tickets are $28-$50, kids 3-12 admitted for $33-$35.

10/16, Festival - Mountain Music Day festival with live music and workshops at The Old School House from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Donation of $8 for attendance, kids 12 and younger admitted free.

11/26-27, Festival - Apple Butter Festival at Los Rios Ranchos with hay rides, family activities and apple butter making. Free attendance, Harvest Feast on Saturday requires ticket.

 

ONTARIO FALL EVENTS

11/2-6, Circus - Cirque du Soleil’s “Toruk: The First Flight” inspired by Avatar at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets are $30-$110, see website for show times.

11/12, Bull Riding - Professional bull riding at the Citizens Business Bank Arena at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $15, parking is $10.

 

PALM SPRINGS FALL EVENTS

11/1-6, Pride Week - Pride week in Palm Springs with events and parade, see site for details.

11/11, Parade - Veteran’s Day Parade in downtown Palm Springs beginning at 3:30 p.m.

10/30, Parade - 52nd annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade at noon on El Paseo.

 


POMONA FALL EVENTS

10/7-29, Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest at Fairplex Fridays and Saturdays 6-11 p.m. $10 admission, parking is $15. Must be 21 to attend.

10/8-9, Festival - 24th annual Pumpkin Festival at Cal Poly Pomona from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with live entertainment, pony rides, pumpkin themed- events and more. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for kids ages 2-12, family pack is $12.

11/26, Fair - Downtown Collector’s Street Fair along Antique Row in Downtown Pomona from 8 a.m.-3 p.m

 

RANCHO CUCAMONGA FALL EVENTS

10/1-16, weekends, Theater – Stuart Little at the Lewis Family Playhouse Saturdays at 1 and 4 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. Tickets are $16-18.

11/5-13, weekends, Theater – “Pride and Prejudice” at the Lewis Family Playhouse Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16-22.50.

 

REDLANDS FALL EVENTS

10/1, Oktoberfest - Redlands Oktoberfest at Sylvan Park from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Beer, food vendors, contest and kids activities. Tickets are $5.

10/2, Walk – Believe Walk through downtown Redlands. See website for registration.

10/14-16, Festival - Art, for Heaven’s Sake at Redlands United Church of Christ with main art show from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. See site for details.

11/5-27, Theater - "Wait Until Dark" at Footlighters Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15.

 

RIVERSIDE FALL EVENTS

10/8, Movie – “Beetlejuice” Screening at Evergreen Cemetery beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $10, kids 10 and younger admitted free.

10/15, Zombies - Riverside Zombie Crawl from 2-6 p.m. in downtown Riverside with family atmosphere and carnival games.

10/15-16, Festival – Inaugural Lebanese Festival at Saint Joseph Maronite Catholic Mission from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Adult and kids games, food vendors, performances and raffle.

10/22, Festival - The IE Taco Festival at White Park from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. with food vendors, taco contests, live entertainment and more. General admission is $12, kids 6-12 are $5.

10/22-23, Dance - Trolley Dances at various locations in Riverside. Trolley tickets are $20.

10/28-29, Tour - Ghost Walk Riverside family event tours with several levels of chills, activities and more. Tickets are $15.

11/12-13, Run - 39th annual Mission Inn Run with 5K, 10K and half marathon on Sunday with a health expo Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Kids runs available as well as kids fitness festival.

 

SAN BERNARDINO FALL EVENTS

10/21/13, Theater - “Footloose” at the California Theater for the Performing Arts Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $38.50-$67.50.

 

TEMECULA FALL EVENTS

10/1, Quilt Show - 18th annual Old Town Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. throughout Old Town. Free admission.  

10/15-16, Festival - St. Nicholas of Temecula Valley Greek Festival at the Old Town Temecula Civic Center Saturday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Live entertainment, food vendors and more. Admission is $2, kids under 12 admitted for $1.

10/29, TedX - TedX Temecula with local speakers at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $35-$100.

10/31-11/6, Art - Ralph Love Plein Air Competition at several locations in city with reception and awards Friday. $30 participation fee.

 

UPLAND FALL EVENTS

10/1, Oktoberfest - The 2nd annual Oktoberfest in downtown Upland from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Craft beers, vendors and entertainment, free admission.

11/11, Parade - 2nd annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony, Upland Veterans Monument Plaza, City Hall. 10:30 a.m.

11/12, Cycling - Tour de Foothills begins and ends in Historic Downtown with 30, 60 and 100 mile races, beer garden and more. See website for registration.

 

VICTORVILLE FALL EVENTS

10/1, Festival - 15th annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. at City Hall.

 

YUCAIPA FALL EVENTS

10/2, Festival – The Herbivore Festival at Crafton Hills College from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. with workshops, lectures, food vendors and more.
