10/27-28, Flashlight Safari - Big Bear Alpine Zoo's Flashlight Safari, ends this weekend.  Tour explores the active animals during twilight and dusk. Gates open 6:30 pm, tour starts 7 pm; no one will be admitted after 7 pm. Bring your own flashlights and dress warmly. $12 for adults, $9 for seniors (60+) and children from 3-10 years, children under 3 years free

10/31, Carnival - Spooktacular! Event in Claremont Village with trick-or-treating, costume contest, games and more meant for ages 2-12. Trick-o- treating from 3-5 p.m., activities at the Depot are from 3-6 p.m.
