INLAND EMPIRE OCTOBER BEER AND WINE EVENTS

Now through 10/2, Oktoberfest at Hammy’s, Hamilton Family Brewery, 9757 7th St., Suite 802, Rancho Cucamonga, 2-9 p.m., Celebrate Oktoberfest at Hamilton Family Brewery throughout the weekend with a souvenir Hammy Oktoberfest mug, which allows for $1 off all refills.

Now through 10/23 (weekends), Lake Arrowhead Oktoberfest, Lake Arrowhead Village, noon- 8 p.m. Saturdays, noon-6 p.m. Sundays, German, European and craft beers on tap, served with bratwurst, knockwurst, pretzels sauerkraut and more.

Now through 10/29 (weekends), 46th Annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, Big Bear Lake Convention Center, 42900 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, noon-midnight Saturdays, noon-5:30 Sundays, Sample the very same beers poured at Munich’s Oktoberfest, feast on brats and knockwurst and enjoy authentic German entertainment.

Now through 10/29 (weekends), Fairplex Oktoberfest, Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, 6 p.m.-midnight. In celebration of Bavarian culture and a nod to the world's largest beer festival, Oktoberfest at Fairplex provides all the excitement and German tradition that Southern California can offer, with Bavarian music, authentic German food, games, prizes and beer.

10/1, Downtown Upland Oktoberfest, Downtown Upland, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Craft beers, vendors, live music, contests, food. Free

10/1, Second Anniversary ALToberfest Party, No Clue Brew, 9037 Arrow Route, Suite 170, Rancho Cucamonga, noon-11 p.m., No Clue Brew celebrates its second-year anniversary with more than 20 craft beers on tap, including its new special second anniversary release, the ALToberfest beer and several barrel-aged brews. The event includes, food, music fun and games.

10/1, Conk Buster Release Party, Rök House Brewing Co., 1939 W. 11th St., Upland, 1-10 p.m. Release party in honor of fall, Rök House blowing out first generation merchandise.

10/4, Steal the Glass Night, Eureka Burger, 345 Pearl Ave., Redlands. Every Tuesday, 6 p.m. Featured beer to be announced.

10/5, Steal the Glass Night, Eureka Burger, 580 W. 1st St., Claremont. Every Wednesday, 6 p.m. Featured beer to be announced.

10/7, Craft Beer Tasting and Bottle Share, Liquorama, 901 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland, 5 p.m. Charge

10/7, Tap Takeover and Steal the Glass featuring Stone Brewing Co., Pacific Wine Merchants, 210 A Street, Upland, 6-8 p.m., $20.

10/8, BierBuzz Oktoberfest, Loan Mart Field, 8408 Rochester Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., With multiple beer gardens, food trucks, Polka and Oompah bands, games, more than 30 vendors and much more, this year’s event will take place at Loan Mart Field in Rancho Cucamonga, home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Beer will be sold during the event. Beer tickets allow you to enjoy special discount pricing before the event. Must be 21+ to drink. Free admission.

10/8, Sixth Annual Chino Hills Wine Walk, The Shoppes at Chino Hills, 4-7 p.m., More than 30 premiere wines from California and abroad along with food pairings from some of the best Chino Valley restaurants. Proceeds benefit the Chino Hills Community Foundation. Admission includes wine glass and 12 tasting tickets, $45 in advance, $55 at the door. VIP EnCork after part and auction $60.

10/15, Inaugural Blues Brews Badges and BBQ, Brew Rebellion, 195 N. Del Rosa Dr., San Bernardino, noon-6 p.m., Family event to benefit San Bernardino Police Foundation; craft beer, craft soda, barbecue and more.

10/15, Drink Local: Meet Your Craft Brewer, Total Wine & More, Foothill Crossing, 8201 Day Creek Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, 3-5 p.m., Local craft brewery representatives will provide an inside perspective on the craft beer movement. $10

10/16, Battle of the Brews, Top of the Notch, Mt. Baldy Road, Mt. Baldy, 2-5 p.m. Rök House Brewing in Upland will try to defend its Battle of the Brews championship against Rancho Cucamonga’s No Clue Brew. The championship round comes after months of tournament-style head-to-head competition between 16 local brewers. Tickets include three tastings from each brewery, judging scorecard, a pint of your favorite brew and a round-trip lift ticket. $27.99

10/20 Wine Tasting, The Sycamore Inn, 8318 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, 6 p.m., Wine tasting on the third Thursday of every month. Includes appetizer buffet. $15.

10/22, Fifth Annual BierBuzz Masquerade Costume Craft Beer Festival, Industry Hills Expo Center, 5-9 p.m., Southern California's original Costume craft beer festival takes everything good about craft beer festivals and offers a ghoulish and exciting twist. Attendees can show off their stylish, scary, sexy, funny, or custom costumes. Live bands and more than 25 craft breweries are sure to awaken the spirits. 10/22, Battle of Bordeaux: Where do you Bank?, Total Wine & More, Foothill Crossing, 8201 Day Creek Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, 3-5 p.m., The wines of the Right Bank of Bordeaux will compete against wines of Left Bank of Bordeaux in this special tasting event. Learn about the famous Cabernet Sauvignon-heavy red blends of the Left Bank and the Merlot-based reds of the Right Bank. There will also be some popular Bordeaux whites for sampling. $20
