Veterans Day, along with many other celebrations around the world, honors the end of World War I (which ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918) and honors those who has served in the military.

We’ve compiled a list of the Veterans Day ceremonies, celebrations and parades happening in the Inland Empire for you to salute those who served the red, white and blue.

11/11, Ceremony – Memorial Day Ceremony at the Beaumont Veterans Memorial in front of the Civic Center at 11 a.m.

 

BIG BEAR VETERANS DAY

11/11, Ceremony – Veterans Day Ceremony at the Big Bear Convention Center at 11 a.m.

 

CHINO VETERANS DAY

11/11, Admission - Free admission to Planes of fame Air Museum for veterans, open 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

 

CORONA VETERANS DAY

11/11, Celebration - Veterans Day Celebrating honoring 99-year-old veteran and more at Valencia Terrance at 10 a.m.

 

DESERT HOT SPRINGS VETERANS DAY

11/11, Ceremony - Veterans Day Ceremony at Veteran Memorial Park from 10 a.m.-noon.

11/11, Celebration – Veterans Day Celebration at the Fontana Memorial Rose Garden at 11 a.m. with speakers, free lunch and more.

MORENO VALLEY VETERANS DAY

11/10, Celebration - Veterans Day Celebration at VFW Post 8547 from 4-11 p.m.

11/11, Ceremony – Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial at 9:30 a.m.

11/12, Open House – Vietnam Veteran Appreciation Day and Open House at the Moreno Valley Public Library from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

 

ONTARIO VETERANS DAY

11/18, Jobs & Services Fair - San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman & City of Ontario host Veterans Appreciation Day 10 a.m.-1p.m. at Westwind Community Center 2455 E. Riverside Dr. Ontario


 

PALM SPRINGS VETERANS DAY

11/11, Parade - Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade beginning at 3:30 p.m., traveling down Palm Canyon Drive and culminating in fireworks and concert at Amado Road. 

 

POMONA VETERANS DAY

11/8, Resource Fair – Veterans Day Observance at Cal Poly Pomona’s University Park from 11:30-1:30 p.m.

 

RANCHO CUCAMONGA VETERANS DAY

11/11, Ceremony - Veterans Day Event at Central Park at 9  a.m.

REDLANDS VETERANS DAY

11/11, Parade - Veterans Day Parade and Picnic at Jennie Davis Park from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. includes airplane flyovers, vendors, booths, kids zone and more.

11/11, Planes - Free admission to the March Air Field Museum for veterans. Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

11/12, Run - Student Veteran Organization inaugural Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk at the University of Redlands beginning at 7 a.m. Registration online.

 

RIVERSIDE VETERANS DAY

11/10, Volunteering - A Flag For Every Hero flag placement on graves from 3-8 p.m. Contact for volunteer information. Cleanup volunteers needed Sunday afternoon.

11/11, Festival - A Salute To Veterans event at the Downtown Riverside Main Street Mall in front of City Hall from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with resources, veteran groups and more.

11/11, Ceremony – Veterans Day ceremony at Riverside National Cemetery at 11 a.m.

 

SAN BERNARDINO VETERANS DAY

11/10, Celebration - Veterans Day Celebration at San Bernardino Valley College from noon-3 p.m. at Clock Tower Lawn with food and refreshments.

11/11, Parade – Veterans Day Salute and Parade at La Plaza Park beginning at 11 a.m.

 

TEMECULA VETERANS DAY

11/11, Concert - We Belong performs at Temecula Valley VFW Post 4089 from 5-9 p.m.

11/11, Concert – Patriotic Salute to Veterans with the Inland Valley Symphony from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center.

 

UPLAND VETERANS DAY

11/11, Parade – Veterans Day Parade beginning at the Cooper Regional History Museum at 10:30 a.m., traveling to Ceremony of Remembrance and BBQ at Veterans Monument Plaza (Civic Center Courtyard).

 

VICTORVILLE VETERANS DAY

11/11, Parade - Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony in Old Town Victorville. Parade preceded by Freedom Mile run that begins at 8:55 a.m. Registration begins after 8 a.m.

 

YUCAIPA VETERANS DAY

11/11, Ceremony - Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Community Park Amphitheater.
