BIG BEAR LAKE WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11, Ceremony - The American Legion Big Bear Post will host a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Big Bear Convention Center. Ceremony begins at 11 a.m.

11/12, Nature - Join the Big Bear Discovery Center for 30-minute nature walks on Saturdays (year round) at 1 and 2 p.m. and Sundays (year round) at 11 a.m. and noon.

 

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 11/19, weekends, Theater - “Sister Act” dinner and show at the Candlelight Pavilion Ticket are $58-$73, kids tickets are $30-$35. Contact for reservations.

11/11, Dancing - Contra Dance at Balch Auditorium at Scripps College at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5.

11/11-12, Festival - Pilgrim Place Festival at Pilgrim Place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with kids activities, crafts, vendors and more. Free admission.

11/13, Screening - “Claremont Modern” documentary film premiere at Garrison Theater at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20.

 

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11-13, Theater - Christian Arts and Theatre presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at the Corona Civic Center. Tickets are $14 to $70; family discounts available.

11/11, Concert - California Country Jam Night 1 at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $10 for the all-ages event.

11/12, ACT -  Bring your high schooler for a free ACT practice test at the Corona Library beginning at 9 a.m. During this practice test, students will gain valuable experience taking a full-length mock exam under realistic conditions to help them understand the actual test.

FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 11/13, Theater - Center Stage Theater presents “The Adams Family,” a hilarious fun-filled musical comedy. Friday 7:30 p.m., Saturday 7 p.m., and Sunday 2 p.m. Parking is complimentary.

11/12, Theater - The City of Fontana Steelworks’ Auditorium presents a special Children’s’ Theater Production of “Peter Pan Jr.,” a modern version of the timeless tale about a boy who refused to grow up. Show times are 2 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $12.

 

MORENO VALLEY WEEKEND EVENTS

11/12 Celebration - City of Moreno Valley will extend appreciation to all Vietnam Veterans at the Moreno Valley Public Library. Event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

MURRIETA WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11, Parade - Annual Veterans Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. Parade begins on Washington Avenue and Ivy Street and ends at Town Square Park.

 


ONTARIO WEEKEND EVENTS

 11/11-13, Comedy – Ralphie May at the Ontario Improv Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m, Saturday at 7 and 9:15 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for the 18-and-older event.

11/12, Sports - Participate in a new sport at the De Anza Community and Teen Center from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

11/12, Bull Riding - Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15-$125 ($5 increase day of show). Parking is $10 cash.

 

PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 11/12, Fashion - Palm Springs Fashion Week at the Palm Springs Convention Center nightly at 5 p.m. Check website for information and packages.

Through 11/13, Theater – “Casa Valentina” at the Pearl MacManus Theater at the Palm Springs Women’s Club Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $30 evening, $25 matinee.

 

PERRIS WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 11/12, Racing - Budweiser Oval Nationals at the Perris Auto Speedway Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 6:30 p.m.  Daily tickets are $10-$35, weekend tickets begin at $20.  

11/11-13, Trains - Join Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends on a 25-minute ride. Tickets are required for ages 2 and older. General admission is $21; the Thomas and Percy rode combo is $31.

11/12, Parade - The city of Perris will honor all who have served our country at the Veterans Day Parade starting at 10 a.m. Pre-parade entertainment begins at 9 a.m.


 

POMONA WEEKEND EVENTS

 Through 11/13, Racing – Auto Club NHRA Finals at the Auto Club Raceway at Fairplex. Tickets are $12-$50.

11/12 - Festival - The Cultural Arts Commission and the DPOA will host the 2016 Chalk Art Festival in Shaun Diamond Plaza in Downtown Pomona from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this free event.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA WEEKEND EVENTS

11/12, Parade - Themed “Celebrating Fun & Games," this year's parade begins at 9 a.m. Public parking is available at the Foothill Crossing Center and the Epicenter parking lot located on the east side of Rochester Avenue.

Through 11/13, Theater  “Pride and Prejudice” at the Lewis Family Performing Arts Center Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16-$22.50.

 

REDLANDS WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11-20, weekends, Theater - “The Emperor’s New Clothes” at LifeHouse Theater Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:15 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance, $9 for kids, and $12 and $24 at the door.

11/11-13, weekends, Opera - Redlands Opera Theater performs “Gianna Schicci” at the First Congregational Church of Redlands at 7 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids.

11/11-27, weekends, Theater - “Wait Until Dark” at Footlighters Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15.

11/11, Celebration - Veterans Day Parade and Picnic. Picnic starts at 8 a.m. at Jennie Davis Park (intersection of New York Street and Redlands Boulevard). Parade starts at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Redlands Boulevard and marches to Jennie Davis Park.

11/12, Market -  The Grove School, a public charter school that includes a working farm, presents a fun-filled activity morning for the entire family. The market is held in the parking lot of The Heritage Park, located on Orange Avenue between Nevada and Iowa streets. Open to the public every Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Repeats weekly.

11/12, Market -  The year-round Redlands certified Farmer’s Market hours are 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the public parking lot on Redlands Boulevard between 5th and 6th streets. Repeats weekly.

11/12, Family Event - Free family fun morning at Jax Toys in celebration of National Toy Store Day. Doors open at 10 a.m.

 

RIALTO WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11-13, Theater – “Fools” at the Jack Simonson Center Friday and Saturday at 8 .m., Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12-$15.

 

RIVERSIDE WEEKEND EVENTS

11/11, Discussion – Edward Snowden Live! At the Fox Performing Arts Center Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35-60.

11/11-13, Theatre -  The Inland Regional Youth Theatre performs “The Wizard of Oz” at the Levi Theatre at Sherman Indian High School. Show times are Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from a cast member or online for $10 and at the door for $15.

11/11, Concert – Steel Panther at Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.

11/11-20, Theater - “The House of Bernarda Alba" at The San Bernardino Garcia Center for the Arts Friday and Saturday at 8 pm., Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15.

11/11, Parade - Honoring all who have served, the Suavesitos Car Club and the City of San Bernardino present the 16th Annual Veterans Day Salute and second annual Veterans Day Parade. Doors open at 11 a.m.

11/12, Cycling - The 12th annual 34-mile route Tour de Foothills sets off from downtown Upland through Southern California’s picturesque foothill communities beginning at 6 a.m.

11/12, Brews - Award-winning brews from some of the Inland Empire’s best craft breweries. The Tour de Brews will be open from noon-6 p.m.

 

YUCAIPA WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 11/20, weekends, Theater - “A Little Princess” at Yucaipa Little Theater Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10-$12, family tickets are $30.
