APPLE VALLEY WEEKEND EVENTS

8/6, Swim - Summer Send off at the Civic Center Park Aquatic Center from 1-3:30 p.m. At the door admission is $5.

BIG BEAR WEEKEND EVENTS

Through 8/7, Cycling – Big Bear Cycling Festival continues with competition and community rides, highlighted by the Tour de Big Bear on Saturday. See website for information.

8/5, Concert - Erotic City, Prince tribute performance at The Cave at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20-30.  

8/6-21, weekends, Faire - Big Bear Renaissance Faire at Pederson’s Mill. Includes historical reenactments, vendors, entertainment and more. Admission is $12-15 daily, weekend is $20-26, Season passes are $55-73. 5 and under admitted free.

CLAREMONT WEEKEND EVENTS

8/5-6, Comedy – Flip Schultz from Last Comic Standing Friday at 8 and 10 p.m. and Saturday 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $20.

8/6, Exhibit - Pointe Suite exhibit at Mirrored Society Bookstore at 6 p.m. Books available for purchase.

8/7, Butterflies - Butterfly Release party at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Release is $5 for one butterfly per family on top of garden admission of $4-8.

8.7, Comedy – Ladies Night with Thomas Dale at Flappers Comedy Club at 7 p.m. Ticket are $10.

8/7, Comics - Comic Book and Collectible Show at the Claremont Packing House from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. with live demos, vendors and more. Free admission and parking.

8/6, Fundraiser - Fiesta Village Discount Day fundraiser for the Human Society of San Bernardino. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Print flier to receive all-access ticket for $16.95.

 

CORONA WEEKEND EVENTS

8/5-7, Theater - "All Shook Up" with the music of Elvis Presley at the Corona Civic Center Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15-17 at the door or $75 for a family of five.

8/6, Community - Corona Elks Lodge Summer Blast from 1-5 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #2045. Free event includes first responders, bounce house, and Pro Wrestling Lucha Libre.

 

FONTANA WEEKEND EVENTS

8/6-7, Auto Racing - SCEDA Pro Gas Super Street and Dragsters at the Auto Club Dragway beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Spectators are $15 a day.

8/6, Auto Racing - 86Fest X Global Time Attack Car Show, Track Day and Autocross at the Auto Club Speedway. General admission is $15, see website for car show and racing entries.

8/6, Crusade - Impact Inland Empire at Calvary Assembly of God at 6:30 p.m.

8/6, Fundraiser - An Evening for the Dogs from 4-7 p.m. at location disclosed upon ticket purchase. Tickets are $35, adoptable dogs at event.

8/6, Hike - Nature hike at the Ameal Moore Nature Center at Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park at 9 a.m. Appropriate clothing and gear recommended. Free.

8/6, Arts and Crafts – The Maker Series Saturdays will feature Comfort Food Blanket lessons and dialogue featuring crochet lesson at the Riverside Art Museum at noon.

8/5, Fish Fry - Upland Steak and Fish Fry at Upland Memorial Park from 4:30–8 p.m. with live entertainment.  Meals are $20 adults for choice of sirloin or salmon, $7 kids meal is hot dogs.
