6/24, Triathlon - The 5th Annual Big Bear Triathlon’s FourTri distances runs through the San Bernardino National Forest on Saturday. Olympic triathlon starts at 8 a.m., aquabike at 8:15 a.m., sprint triathlon at 8:30 a.m., and duathlon at 9 a.m. Additional information is available online.

6/24, Water Ski Race - The NWSRA Big Bear Lake Water Ski Race is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on Big Bear Lake just off the observatory.

6/24, Sunset Cruise - Enjoy hors d’ouevres, beer, and wine from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday on a sunset cruise aboard the Big Bear Queen. It is sponsored by the Big Bear Guild for the Arts. Make reservations at (909) 585-2868.

6/24, Concert Series - The Music in the Mountains Concert Series kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Big Bear Discovery Center Outdoor Amphitheater. Tickets start at $20. Additional information is available online. Parking and gates open at 5 p.m.



6/23, Summer Nights - Bring the family to see “Sing” beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday on City Hall lawn. Activities, snacks, and refreshments available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.



6/23, ongoing, Unique Art - Visit the city’s Art Mart from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at the Claremont Packing House. Free. 

6/24, Beer Walk - The 8th Annual Claremont Village Craft Beer Walk is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. More than 40 village businesses will serve craft beer tastings and food samplings. Live entertainment available at several sites. Beer walk participants must be 21 or older. Photo ID required. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 the day of the event. Designated driver tickets are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event.

6/24, ongoing, Open Market - There’s some great finds at Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays on Second Street between Indian Hill Boulevard and Yale Ave. Free.

6/25, Pet Vaccinations - Affordable Vaccinations by Vetco is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Unleased by Petco on Foothill Boulevard. Check out the website for additional information.

Thru 10/27, Claremont Friday Nights Live! - Free concerts are held at the Village Square Public Plaza (by Laemmle 5 Theatres), in front of the Claremont Chamber, 205 Yale Avenue and at City Hall Plaza, Second St west of Harvard Ave.

6/24, ongoing, Car Show - Cars and Coffee meet up every Saturday from 7-9 a.m. at Saleen Automotive. Free.

6/25, Mobile Health Care - A Mobile Health Clinic runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Islamic Society of Corona on Santana Way. Services include free physical exams, free and discounted medications, free diabetic meter, and more for uninsured families.

Thru 6/25, Community Theater - Off Broadway Community Theater presents “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” this weekend at the Corona Civic Center Theater. Tickets and show information available online.

Thru 6/25, Renaissance Faire - Final weekend! The annual Corona Renaissance Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Riverview Recreation Park in Eastvale. Regular admission is $25, military and police are $20, children are $15, and a special all-year faire pass is $100.



6/23-6/25, Picnic in the Park - Bring the family to a three-day summer celebration at Eastvale Community Park. The event runs 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Concerts, fireworks, salsa-making contest, and more!

6/25, Ribbon Cutting - The Eastvale Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join them for the Eastvale Athletics Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from noon to 2 p.m. at its location on Hamner Avenue.



6/23-6/24, Dive-In Movie - Bring the family to see “Storks” from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Heritage Pool and Saturday at Don Day Pool. Regular admission applies.

6/24, Movies Under the Stars - Pack a picnic and come see “Sing” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Mary Vagle Nature Center. Face painting from 7:15 to 8 p.m. Free.
