7/21, Star Party - A public star party and telescope clinic is from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Erwin Lake Park. The program is sponsored by the Big Bear Valley Astronomical Society. Free.

7/21-7/22, ongoing, Live Music - Come to Honky Tonk on Friday and Saturday each week from 4 to 11 p.m. at Wyatt’s Saloon & Café. Check out the website for schedule of bands.

7/22, Day of the Cowboy - The 6th Annual Spirits of the West Brewfest is from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Big Bear Convention Center. The event celebrates the National Day of the Cowboy. Guests can be entertained with two live bands, arts and crafts, vendors, gunfighters, and the local sheriff’s posse. Come sample more than 50 different beers and spirits. Admission is $3; children 12 and younger are free. Sample tickets are $1 each for beer and $3 for spirits. Must be 21 and older to sample alcohol.

7/21, Summer Nights - Final movie of the season! Bring the family to see “Zootopia” beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday on City Hall lawn. Activities, snacks, and refreshments available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.



7/21, ongoing, Unique Art - Visit the city’s Art Mart from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at the Claremont Packing House. Free. 

7/23, ongoing, Open Market - There’s some great finds at Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays on Second Street between Indian Hill Boulevard and Yale Ave. Free.

7/23, Habitat Gardening - Habitat Gardening for Pollinators runs from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. Participants should bring a rough measured sketch of their garden or portion of their garden on 8.5 x 11 paper, 2 cups of soil from their garden in a water-proof container, and photos on their phones or other digital devices. Fee is $25 for the public and $20 for members.

7/23, Free Concert - The SoCal Chamber Music Workshop features the Daedalus Quartet, an ensemble in-residence, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Balch Auditorium at Scripps College.

Thru 10/27, Claremont Friday Nights Live! - Free concerts are held at the Village Square Public Plaza (by Laemmle 5 Theatres), in front of the Claremont Chamber, 205 Yale Avenue and at City Hall Plaza, Second St west of Harvard Ave. 



7/22, Rockin’ Summer Concerts - The Shops at Dos Lagos continues its 2017 Rockin’ Summer Concerts with the Def Leppard tribute band Pyromania Deff Leppard Tribute. The show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Free.

7/22, Street Festival - The 9th Annual Cammino dell’ Arte Street Painting Festival is from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday by the large fountain at the Crossings in Corona. Other activities include face painting, balloon artist, and a clown. Free.

7/22, Safari Day - The 19th Annual Youth Safari Day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Raahauge’s Shooting Complex. Tickets are $14 online and $20 the day of the event. Under 2 is free.

7/22, ongoing, Open Marketplace - Corona Certified Farmer’s Market held at the Main St. Marketplace from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Free.

7/22, ongoing, Car Show - Cars and Coffee meet up every Saturday from 7-9 a.m. at Saleen Automotive. Free.



7/21-7/22, Dive-In Movie - Bring the family to see “Finding Dory” from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Heritage Pool and Saturday at Don Day Pool. Regular admission applies.

7/22, Summer Concert - Desperado, an Eagles tribute band, takes the stage from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Arrowhead Village.

7/22, ongoing, Artisan Faire - A Farmer’s Market & Artisan Faire runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Running Springs. Free.



7/21, Movie and Concert - MoVal Rocks! concert features Latin Nation beginning at 6:45 p.m. Friday followed by MoVal Movies and “Moana” at 8:30 p.m. Both events take place on the grass behind the Conference & Recreation Center. Free.



7/21, Summer Concert - The 2017 Summer Concerts in the Park continues with the Western Express Band from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Pikes Peak Park. Free parking and admission. The Norco Lions Club will have refreshments and BBQ available for purchase.

7/22, Celebrating Cowboys - The 2017 National Day of the American Cowboy, “Preserving the Heritage,” begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center. Come see chariot races, chuckwagon races, food and craft vendors, petting zoo, and more. Admission is free; parking is $5.



7/21, Summer Movie Series - The Ontario Town Square Summer Series continues Friday night with “Finding Dory.” Event runs from 7 to 10 p.m.  Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. There will be kids’ activities food, and fun. Free.

Thru 7/23, Shawn Wayans - Enjoy comedian Shawn Wayans this weekend at Ontario Improv. Seats are first come, first serve. Show times and ticket availability are available online.



7/21, ongoing, Farmers Market - Take a fresh approach to shopping at Victoria’s Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday at Victoria Gardens. The market is on South Mainstreet.

7/21, Summer Movies - The free summer movie, “Home,” begins at dusk Friday at Red Hill Community Park Amphitheater. It’s Space Night, so wear blue or purple.

7/22-7/23 - “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” - Don’t miss your chance to see this musical event at 2 p.m. Saturday an 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lewis Family Playhouse. Ticket information available online.



7/22, Summer Music Festival - The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival presents Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Bluegrass Band sponsored by Bank of America beginning at 8 p.m. Free.

Thru 8/19, Redlands Theatre Festival - The 45th Annual Redlands Theatre Festival continues this weekend with “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” on Friday, “The Three Cuckolds” on Saturday, and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Sunday. 7/21, Concert - Singer-songwriter Eddie Watkins Jr. performs from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Riverside Center for Spiritual Living. He will perform hits from the Motown era. Ticket information is available online.

7/22, Movies in the Park - The free summer movie, “Finding Dory” begins at 8 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Bonaminio Park. 



7/21, Moonlight Movies - Come down to Harveston Community Park Park from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday for a free showing of “Toy Story.”

Thru 9/2, Old Time Live – This Summer-long event happens every Friday in Old Towne Temecula.  All information and activities are available online.

7/21, ongoing, Walking Tour - Experience Old Town Temecula in a new way every Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Temecula Valley Museum. The 1 ½-hour tour is $5 per person.

7/21-7/23, “Spamalot” - Monty Python’s “Spamalot” opens this weekend at the Old Towne Temecula Community Theater. Ticket information and show times are available online.
