BIG BEAR WEEKEND EVENTS 

7/28-7/29, ongoing, Live Music - Come to Honky Tonk on Friday and Saturday each week from 4 to 11 p.m. at Wyatt’s Saloon & Café. Check out the website for schedule of bands.

7/29, Big Bear Fundraiser - The Loyal Order of Moose presents “Dancing for the Lake” from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday at The Lodge at Big Bear Lake Holiday Inn Resort. Tickets are $100. Additional information available online.

7/29-8/6, Cycling Festival - The City of Big Bear and Big Bear Cycling presents the Big Bear Cycling Festival. This is a full week of rides and cycling-related activities that take place through August 6. Check out the website for additional information.

7/29, Cruise Night - Enjoy Cruise Night at Schaefer’s Food N’ Drinks from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $5, and funds raised will benefit Team Horton for the Greater Hope Foundation.

7/30, ongoing, Open Market - There’s some great finds at Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays on Second Street between Indian Hill Boulevard and Yale Ave. Free.

7/30, Jazz at College Center - A free jazz concert with the Joel Paat Jazz Project runs from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at on the east patio of the mall.

Thru 10/27, Claremont Friday Nights Live! - Free concerts are held at the Village Square Public Plaza (by Laemmle 5 Theatres), in front of the Claremont Chamber, 205 Yale Avenue and at City Hall Plaza, Second St west of Harvard Ave.

7/29, Rockin’ Summer Concerts - The Shops at Dos Lagos continues its 2017 Rockin’ Summer Concerts with the Keith Urban tribute band Urban Skies. The show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Free.

7/29, ongoing, Open Marketplace - Corona Certified Farmer’s Market held at the Main St. Marketplace from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Free.

7/29, Arts Festival - The Fontana Arts Festival runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Fontana Park. Enjoy more than 50 artists and 100 performers, as well as stage entertainment, art demonstrations, kid zone, and food trucks. Admission is free.

7/29, FZ Racing - Come Auto Club Speedway for street car racing on the Dragstrip from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket information available online.
