7 Things to Do in the Inland Empire 12/12-16/2016
The Inland Empire right now may feel like a winter wonderland right about now, with all of the seasonal decorations, holiday activities and even some cold weather (at least cold by Southern California standards). Check out this list of holiday events we’ve found to keep you busy between shopping trips and Christmas light viewings.
12/12, Crafts - Winter Wonderland: Holiday Ornaments. Let the little ones walk through some holiday books at the Temecula Public Library while the teens and their friends create an ornament craft from 7-8 p.m. Free registration.
12/13-15, Parade - Check out the beginning of San Bernardino’s three-day Ho Ho Parade today at 6 p.m. Parade route posted on website; events planned nightly.
12/13, Movie – Pretend you’re in Vermont for a night with “White Christmas” on the big screen at Riverside’s University Village 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8.
12/14, Ice Skating - Take a lap at Temecula on Ice from 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Admission is $10, skate rental $5, a “bobby” skating aid rental is $6.
12/15, Santa - Santa’s Village in Skyforest is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Admission is $49 for kids 4-12 and seniors, adults for $59 and includes ice skating, shows, workshop experience and more.
12/16, Festival – Register the family for the Winter Wonderland festival at Orange Terrace Community Center in Riverside, where you can ride sleds, play games and more. Free admission includes activities, Santa, crafts, food and more, Fun Zone wristband is $10 in advance and $12 same-day.
12/16, Hayride - Hay rides with Christmas lights at Greenspot Farms in Mentone from 5-8 p.m.; adults $12, kids 4 and older $8.
