Get your creative juices flowing with arts and crafts projects throughout the Inland Empire. From building LEGO crafts to painting and more, there are plenty of colorful and fun ways to get your hands on some crafts this week.
Calling all parents and caregivers! The Inland Empire Family Fair, a family expo and play date, is coming to Chino Basin Water Conservation District on Saturday, June 18th. 5/16, Trade Legos – Minifigure Swap Monday at LEGO Store at Ontario Mills. Children love getting creative with LEGOs. Bring in one of your own LEGO Minifigures to swap with another LEGO fan. This is a fun way to build your collection and make new friends. See a Brick Specialist for details.
5/17, Crafts – Crafts at La Sierra Library in Riverside at 4 p.m. Want to participate in fun and free crafts? Drop by the library for an afternoon of creative and colorful fun! This is fun for both adults and children, so don’t forget to bring the little ones.
5/18, Painting – Ceramic Paint Bar at Ceramic Cupboard in Norco from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost to use the paint bar is $6 for a day with the purchase of at least one ceramic item. Take your time to create a true masterpiece with unlimited use of over 100 colors. With sponges, stencils and various brushes made available to participants, as well as basic instruction, you’re sure to bring something home with pride.
5/19, Painting – Paint at Color Me Mine in Riverside from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check website for special discounts. Call (951) 687-1630 for more information including pricing. You and your friends or family will have a blast playing Picasso. Pick a cermic piece to paint, and you’ll get to take it home for decoration or even as a gift for someone you love. The best part? All the paints are non-toxic, lead free and washable.
5/19, Tie-Dye – Discover Club at Biane Library in Rancho Cucamonga from 4-4:30 p.m. Come try your luck at Tie-Dye Art at the Biane Library. This is for children ages 6 to 12. This program is designed for children in school who are looking to discover more about the world hands-on. Walk-ins are welcome, but the seating is limited. Grab your ticket at the Children’s Information Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of the club.
5/20, Painting Class – Kids Paint! At Purple Easel in Ontario from 4:30-6 p.m. Price is $20 if you register online in advance. Most classes sell out, so please make a reservation. Kids will have so much fun painting this cute little Hungry Panda. Make sure you wear clothing that you don’t mind covering in paint, and bring snacks and drinks if you like.
5/20, Teen Party – Teen Only Library Lock-In at Corona Public Library at 8 p.m. Teens can enjoy a sleepover at the library with crafts, books, activities, movies and snacks! This is limited to the first 30 teens to turn in a completed permission slip.
