As summer begins to wind down, that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. Take advantage of warm summer evenings, ice cream for breakfast and feel good music you can dance and sing your heart out to. Attend one (or more) of the 10 hottest concerts happening this August for the perfect opportunity to make this summer a memorable one.


08/05, An Evening with Anuhea – Check out this Hawaiian born singer blends Pop and Reggae for a style all her own at Romano’s Concert Lounge in Riverside. Tickets are $25. 08/05, Boz Scaggs – Catch the legendary icon of blues and jazz rock at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $85.

08/11, Julion Alvarez  – Listen to one of the most recognized banda performers of all time at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino. Purchase your tickets here. Prices start at $49.

08/11, Bondax – You’ll be captivated by the mashup of dubstep, R&B and garage that is Bondax at  The Glass House in Riverside. Show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $12.

08/12, Flo Rida – See how Flo Rida welcomes you to his house at Casino Morongo in Cabazon. Tickets start at $65 for the 9 p.m. show.

08/13, Beatles vs Stones – Watch two of the most popular rock groups of all time battle it out for the time of the greatest band at, the Fox Performing Arts Center. Tickets start at $15. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

08/14, Silversun Pickups – If you are feeling a little blue, Silversun Pickups will sure be able to brighten your day with their rockin’ tunes at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. This all ages show begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $28.50.

08/17, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – This rock band is back at it at and celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a stop at the M15 Concert Hall and Bar in Corona. Doors open at 7 p.m. with tickets for $10. For information call (951)200-4465.

08/20, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds – Hear the blues like never before with this San Diego local band making its first appearance at Temecula's Liberty Kitchen. Check out the venue website for more information.

08/27, Space Oddity and Generation Idol  – Relieve the greatest hits of David Bowie and Billy Idol with tribute bands Space Oddity and Generation Idol at the  Fox Theater Pomona. The show begins at 8 p.m., with tickets starting at $25.
