‘Unchartered 4: A Thief’s End’ Artists to Discuss Character Pipeline at July 30 Workshop
The artists behind one of today’s most popular action-adventure video games will provide an inside look at the game’s characters during a free workshop presented by The Art Institute of California–Inland Empire.
Lead character artist Frank Tzeng and junior character artist Nancy Cantu will discuss the character pipeline of Naughty Dog’s “Unchartered 4: A Thief’s End” on Saturday, July 30, at The Art Institute of California–Inland Empire at 674 East Brier Dr. in San Bernardino.
Along with their lecture, Tzeng and Cantu will demonstrate the workflow in the character design pipeline used to create the visually striking game. Guests will learn how the two artists utilized industry tools like Zbrush and Substance Painter in the production process.
