Children’s Foundation of America has partnered with local businesses for its annual Back-to-School Supply Drive supporting foster children in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.

The community is invited to be part of the Children’s Foundation of America’s mission to provide an opportunity for every person to help children heal, learn and thrive. The goal of the Back-to-School Drive is to supply 150 children with complete Back-to-School kits. Items needed include backpacks, pencil pouches, lunch boxes, pens, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, markers, colored pencils, construction paper, three-ring binders, lined paper, notebooks, folders and rulers. All items collected will directly support children who have been placed into foster care due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.

Donations may be delivered to any one of the following Claremont locations through Wednesday, Aug. 31: Vom Fass, Podge’s Claremont Juice Co., A Shop Called Quest, Starbucks, Amelie, Deelux, Middle-Tree Academy, Wolfe’s Market or the Children’s Foundation of America office.
