Let us paint a situation that has most likely happened to you this holiday season. You’re walking down the aisles of a craft store, supply list scribbled on the back of an envelope, when you stop. You’ve spotted the clear ornaments. The clear ornaments you’ve seen littered all over Pinterest, with lists of 75-plus ways to fill them. We understand, it can be overwhelming. We’re happy to report these were easy to make and we did it in a pinch. Especially the glitter ornaments. It was like magic coating the inside of the ornaments with glitter. The floor wax wasn’t that difficult to find, either. Remember, floor wax or finisher, not floor cleaner.
Glass Glitter Ornaments +more
Other knick knacks
- Remove the metal cap from the ornament.
- Pour in about a tablespoon of floor wax into the ornament; turn the ornament to coat interior.
- Turn the ornament over and let the excess drain out.
- Pour the glitter into the ornament and turn to coat the inside. Repeat if necessary.
Glitter isn’t your only option. We used a wedding invitation to make a darling keepsake; sand and shells for a holiday by the sea; and paper stars.
