DIY/Craft | "Best Mom Ever" Greeting Card
By: Rina Gonzales, Mothership Scrapbook Gal
I am happy to be back to share an easy Greeting Card craft with IEShineOn.com readers for the month of April!!!
Here are the craft supplies for my "Best Mom Ever" Greeting Card:
Scrapbook paper or an index card
Alphabet letter stickers or stamps
Double sided tape/scrapbook tape adhesive
Optional: Embellishments (I used floral chipboard!)
Step 1: Use the card-stock to create your card base. My card-stock is usually 8 1/2 by 11, and then I cut it in half on the long side to be able to create 2 cards.
Step 2: Take you scrapbook paper/index card piece and decide on placement on your card. I decided to place my small scrapbook paper on the side, because I wanted to have room for my floral chipboard embellishment. You can adhere the paper and embellishments with double sided tape, scrapbook tape adhesive or white tacky glue.
Step 3: Use stamps and/or stickers to write a fun message to your mom for Mother's Day. How many times in a year do you actually tell your mom how much you love her (or your dad, grandparents, family, friends, relatives - the list can go on and on!!!)?
Step 4: For a finishing touch, add some colorful twine in a bow on your card!
If you don't have time to hit the craft stores, then you should plan to join me for my "Crafty Happy Hour - World's Best Mom Edition" at Packinghouse Brewing Company.
