Recruiters representing a number of top Inland Empire companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions will set up shop to meet with, interview and even hire new employees at the Inland Empire Job, College and Veterans Fair on Wednesday, June 29, at Community Baptist Church in Rancho Cucamonga
TRL Systems, Sunrun, United Truck Driving School and both the Los Angeles County and Orange County sheriffs’ departments are among the dozens of organizations that are registered to participate. More than 40 organizations are expected to be on hand to recruit to fill hundreds of job openings in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more.
The event is open to anyone looking for a job, regardless of age, skill sets, education level or current employment status. There is no charge to attend the job fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Attendees should dress professionally and come equipped with a generous supply of resumes.
The list of participants also includes employment agencies (Arrow Staffing), health care training institutions (American Career College), higher education (Concordia University) and a host of others.
“We’re grateful to offer this job fair as a way to help our neighbors in the Inland Empire find meaningful employment,” said Rob Acker, pastor at Community Baptist Church. “We believe many will be blessed through this job fair. At Community Baptist, we’ll have a team of volunteers ready to serve and encourage job seekers. I look forward to meeting everyone.”
Community Baptist Church is presenting the event in partnership with Church Job Fairs, which works with churches to present events throughout California. Church Job Fairs (www.churchjobfairs.org) helps provide job seekers with hope and encouragement, while introducing them to a welcoming local church and delivering enthusiastic job candidates to employers.
