Inland Empire News | 9th Annual Landscape and Water Conservation Fair

Chino Basin Water Conservation District (CBWCD), in partnership with the Inland Empire Utilities Agency and other local water agencies, will host their 9th Annual Landscape and Water Conservation Fair on Saturday, October 17th from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  This FREE Fair will be held at the district’s facility at 4594 San Bernardino Street in Montclair.

Bring the entire family to learn a multitude of free and easy ways to conserve water! Adults will receive water-conserving giveaways, participate in raffles, and have the opportunity to purchase beautiful climate appropriate plants! Dozens of exhibitors will be on hand to provide information about water wise landscaping and other topics. Rain Bird will provide a grand prize of a $1,000 irrigation makeover to one lucky winner!

Kids will enjoy an entertaining environmental performance, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and face-painting! 

 Fair goers are encouraged to attend free workshops (9:30a.m. Edible Landscaping and 11:30a.m. Irrigation Techniques) and tour CBWCD’s Water Conservation Center and Water Wise Demonstration Garden.
