Inland Empire News | Big Bear Air Fair

Big Bear Air Fair at the Big Bear City Airport on Saturday, August 15th from 9a.m. to 4p.m., and admission is free.

Come soaring to the Big Bear Air Fair at the Big Bear City Airport. Vintage and classic models of aircraft will be on display at the fair, but the main features are the planes originating from World War II. Some of the warbirds include Grumman F8F Bearcat, F4U Corsair, Douglas C-47 Skytrain and many more models. These aircrafts will showcase the rich history and technology that stemmed from past wars. In addition to United States warbirds, the fair will also include aircrafts from other countries with planes like Japan’s Zero and Britain’s Spitfire.

The fair also includes interactive flight fun like a full motion airplane simulation, helicopter and bi-plane rides. Just in Time Skydivers will also be at the fair to put on a show, and various food vendors will keep you full throughout the event. In addition to the models on display there will also be a kid’s zone where kids can play on slides and bouncy houses, get their faces painted and even trample through an obstacle course.

Bring the family to the Big Bear Air Fair—a place where you can learn, laugh and love the classic fun of vintage aircrafts and remember admission is free.
