Thinking about a family pet? Love animals? This expo is for you!
The 27th Annual America’s Family Pet Expo is at the Orange County Fair & Event Center Friday, April 22nd through Sunday, April 24th. The Pet Expo provides attendees with entertainment, pet care education and adoption resources. There are breed-specific exhibits, a reptile show, marine touch tanks, wiener dog races as well as animals available for adoption. The popular Splash Dogs show will be there, as well as the Free Flight Bird Show and police dog demonstration.
Attendees can also see some of the newest products for pet lovers with product launches and learn with a variety of educational events. For kids, there is face painting, pony rides, an aquarium design content and the Great American Petting Zoo.
New this year is petite farm animals including miniature horses, miniature sheep and goats, rabbits and other mini-sized animals. The entire event is organized by World Pet Association, a nonprofit focused on promoting responsible pet care.
The Orange County Fair & Event Center is at 88 Fair Dr., Costa Mesa 92626. General admission is $13 seniors $11, children 6-12 $8, and five and under admitted free. Military free with ID. Parking is $7. The Expo is Friday 10a.m.-6p.m.; Saturday 10a.m.-7p.m. and Sunday 10a.m.-6p.m. Pets are not allowed at the Expo.
