Pie lovers of all ages are welcome to join Claremont in the 4th Annual Pie Festival on Saturday, March 19th from 11a.m. to 4p.m. As live music plays throughout the town, take a stroll past the various vendor booths, and pick up some recipe cards, art, crafts and food. This festival is dedicated to the simple things in life, so embrace it!

Do you bake the best pecan pie? Enter it in the baking contest for a chance to win a $50 Claremont gift card. You can also apply to be a pie judge and have the opportunity to try all the pies entered in the contest. Prefer to indulge in pie? Sign up for the pie eating contest, but be sure to get there early, because spaces fill up fast! Not the best baker yet? Stop by one of the various baking demos, and sharpen your pie making skills. There will also be a pie recipe card scavenger hunt taking place throughout the festival. Explore the Claremont Village and search for recipe cards that will help you become a better baker.

New to the Pie Festival this year is the 1st annual car show. Take a look at some classic cars, along with Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Own a classic car or motorcycle? Sign up for the car show, and enter it in to win Best of Show, People’s Choice or Spirit of American Pie awards.

With so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone. You won’t want to miss this unique pie-loving event, so start baking those pies and get involved!

Claremont Pie Festival will be held at the Claremont Village, 101 N. Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont, CA 9171 on March 19, 2016 from 11a.m.-4p.m. It is $10 to participate in the Pie Baking Contest and $30 to participate in the car show. All ages are welcome.
