The 11th Annual Horsetown Parade of Lights and Christmas Festival is almost here! On Saturday, December 12th is when all of the festivities begin. The Christmas Festival begins at 9a.m. and continues all the way until 9p.m. That morning you will also have the opportunity to have breakfast with Santa. Breakfast will also kick-off at 9a.m. and continue till 11a.m. The cost is $5 for each person. Admission to the Christmas Festival is free.

The Christmas Festival will definitely make spirits bright with fun for the whole family! Of course Santa will be there too, so you can take pictures with him, visit his workshop and even play in the “snow” area. There will be train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, a kid's inflatable bouncer, rock climbing wall, food and craft vendors. To participate in all the fun there will be the $5 activity wristbands, so that your little one can have a magical day. There will also be live entertainment, which will go on from 1:30p.m. till 9p.m.

The lineup for live entertainment is as follows:

1-1:30p.m. - Noelani's Polynesian Dancers 
1:30-2p.m. - Turning Point Christian School's “Santa's Little Helpers” 
2-2:30p.m. - Ukulele Mele 
2:30-3p.m. - NHS JROTC Rifle Team 
3-3:30p.m. - Moo Yea Doo Exhibition 
5:30-7:30p.m. - Rock Stars of Tomorrow 
7:30-8p.m. - Rainbow Express 
8-8:30p.m. - CAT of Corona 
8:30-8:45p.m. - NHS Cheer & NHS Dance Team 
8:45-9p.m. - Parade Award Winners 


Then the Parade of Lights will begin at 5p.m. starting off on Corona Avenue and will go up to Sixth Street to the Christmas Festival located at the Nellie Weaver Hall grounds in the George Ingalls Equestrian Center. This year's celebrity Marshall will be the young actor Jakob Salvati, whom starred in the movie Little Boy. The Grand Marshall will be Melanie Dalfior Oliver, CNUSD and the Riverside County teacher of the year. The parade will consist of floats, wagons, vintage tractors, equestrian groups, drill teams, walking/dancing groups and marching bands.

This event is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit and provides a full day of fun. Parking for the event is free, and all these events will be held at the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, 3737 Crestview, Norco, CA.
