The IEBA Bike Film Fest is held to gather the IE biking community together for a good time as well as to raise money for great causes. This year IEBA is working with SLATE INC. to find talented new filmmakers to produce the films for this year’s festival. Breaking the cycle from last year, there will be two separate showings instead of one in two different locations. The first day of the showing is in Redlands, CA and the other in Riverside, CA. Each have there own delicious food option; who doesn’t love dinner and a movie? Check out the menu here. If you choose to pick the dinner option, make sure to register as soon as possible.

The IEBA’s goal is to raise awareness about the benefits of cycling and safety concerns with cyclers on the streets. Slate Inc., the organization that amalgamated with them this year, has a goal to help up-and-coming artists through educational programs, professional engagements and promotion of their work. They would like to make the process easier for new artists to emerge into the professional community. Together they have founds all sort of amazing shorts that will make for a unique experience.  Click here to check out the shorts from 2012’s short films or check out the one down below. All the proceeds from this year’s Film Fest will benefit local non-profits.
