It has been more than half a decade since American punk rock band Strung Out has released a new album. Now after six years of living, gaining experiences, writing and recording, Strung Out is ready to show everyone what the band has created. Join Strung Out at The Glass House in Pomona on February 26th as they anticipate the release of their new album.
Transmission.Alpha.Delta., which will be released on March 24th, did not come together easily, according to lead singer Jason Cruz. Rather than a lack of ideas, band members had a lot of potentially great ideas to go into the new album but they all couldn’t be included.
“We have an excess of ideas, and everyone in the band likes to put their elbows up and fight for their ideas,” Cruz told www.theglasshouse.us.
Though the process was difficult, Cruz believes this will be his favorite Strung Out album yet. Through their conflict in constructing the album, members of Strung Out were able to collaborate and create something powerful.
The unique aspect about Strung Out is that they continuously strive to be modern, relevant and not remain where they are. The band’s six year break helped the members find their voices and have valuable life experiences, which has only added to the hype of new album and future work to come.
It’s easy to see that Strung Out is rejuvenated and ready for whatever comes its way next. Be sure to join this old school punk band at The Glass House where you will surely witness a high-energy and upbeat show.
