There are tons of activities to enjoy throughout the weekend, so bring the ones you love to experience musicians, jugglers, comedians, dancers and other varieties of Victorian fun.
One of the era appropriate activities at the Dicken’s Fest is Bydand Forever, a re-creation of firearms and drill demonstration with an 1874 Gatling gun and so much more. Oliver’s Alley is another adventurous and free place for children to experience games and happenings that youngsters of the Victorian Era also enjoyed. Meet Mr. Dickens, where a local actor plays the role of Charles Dickens—addressing an American audience during his second trip to the states. There are so many more good times to be had at the Dicken’s Festival in Riverside, like the recreation of the Lizzie Borden Trial, the Trial of Jack the Ripper and live street performances. Prices for the different activities range from $5-35. Do not miss out on the opportunity to experience the interactive rendition of the Victorian Era in Riverside.
