Cal Poly Pomona’s annual Pumpkin Festival is almost here! The festival will be open October 17th and 18th from 8a.m. to 5p.m. Bring the whole family; admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12, while children ages two and under are admitted free to the event. Pick out the perfect pumpkin for up to only $5 in "activity tickets," which can be purchased at the event.
Take photos with the festival mascot at the Opening Ceremony on October 17th at the gazebo in the pumpkin patch. Live music and festival giveaways will be apart of all the fun.
Besides picking for pumpkins, the festival has plenty of activities for the whole family. You could get lost in the corn maze or see the cute animals at the petting zoo. For those foodies, there will be various delicious treats at the food booths and trucks, including but not limited to pumpkin pie, funnel cake, BBQ, and tacos. Or stop by Cal Poly’s Farm Store full of locally grown produce.
Have an exciting learning experience at the free family fun agriculture exhibits. With activities such as antique farm tractors and equipment, animal displays, home gardening demonstrations and a kids farm with squash tunnels. There will also be a game booth, entertainment and contests.
