Punch Bowl Social, a leader in the "eatertainment" movement, will open a 19,000 square-foot restaurant, bar and entertainment concept in Rancho Cucamonga's Victoria Gardens early next year. Punch Bowl Social pairs from-scratch dishes and craft beverages with vintage games and social activities like shuffleboard, Ping-Pong, bocce, Washers, bowling, giant Jenga and skee-ball.

The award-winning brand features a southern-influenced menu created by culinary partner and celebrity chef Hugh Acheson. Acheson, an award-winning restaurateur, Top Chef judge, cookbook author and James Beard award winner, oversees the culinary direction of the growing restaurant concept while further strengthening Punch Bowl Social's commitment to a seasonally inspired, scratch kitchen.

Punch Bowl Social's Rancho Cucamonga location will include six bowling lanes, two roller ball lanes, one bocce court, two private karaoke rooms, a custom built 360 degree bar (with plenty of televisions for sports enthusiasts) and numerous other lounging and gathering spots – for groups both large and small - housed in an eclectic space melding mountain lodge, Victorian and modern industrial design themes.

Over the course of its three years in operation, Punch Bowl Social has proven to be an economic stalwart, often breathing new life into markets and serving as a key anchor in re-imagined shopping and dining districts. With Victoria Gardens undergoing an impressive refurbishment, the addition of Punch Bowl Social is well suited.

"Victoria Gardens is quickly becoming the Inland Empire's go-to destination for anyone seeking a unique dining and shopping experience," said Punch Bowl Social founder and CEO Robert Thompson. "The center's open air, pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use approach was immediately appealing to us. Add in its location in vibrant Rancho Cucamonga and the strong appeal to millennials, our key demographic, and it's pretty obvious that this is a great place for Punch Bowl Social to be."

Joe Boehm, Executive Vice President, Real Estate at Forest City Realty Trust, the development company behind Victoria Gardens, agrees. "We take pride in scouring the country to discover and attract unique, high-performing concepts that are critical to enhancing the merchandising strategies of our projects," Boehm said. "Denver-based Punch Bowl Social is an example of a concept that delivers an innovative eatertainment experience that appeals to energetic millennials who love a cool, hip, social environment. Punch Bowl Social will become a significant asset to Victoria Gardens and the community of Rancho Cucamonga."

Punch Bowl Social Rancho Cucamonga will be one of three California locations, with properties in Sacramento and San Diego, also scheduled to open in 2017.

Punch Bowl Social brings classic entertainment and real culinary chops together under the same roof, in an environment that is playful and surprisingly intimate. Punch Bowl Social's scratch kitchen serves weekend brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks while the in-house mixologists focus on serving up craft beverages.
