We’ve brought you enough holiday cheer this month to last until next Christmas, so let’s focus on something else this week. After all, many of you aready have a week that is already filled with more than enough yuletide celebrations. Here are seven things to do that have nothing to do with Santa Claus, reindeer, red, green or fruitcake. You’re welcome.


12/22, Chanukah Celebration – 10th Annual Chanukah Festival at Riverside County Historic Courthouse from 6p.m. to 8p.m. To celebrate the 7th night of Chanakah, this festive evening will be full of traditional food and live music. Don’t miss as the Grand Menorah Lighting that serves as the highlight to the evening, and the Consul General of Israel, Mr. David Siegel, is the celebration’s guest of honor.



12/23, Storytime – Mother Goose on the Loose Story Time at the Biane Library in Rancho Cucamonga at 12p.m. This fun storytime will brighten the day for you and your little ones up to age three. From Mother Goose nursery rhymes to songs, lap-bounces, movement and more, this is a great interaction for you and your mini.



12/24, Indoor Trampoline Park – Jump at SkyZone in Riverside from 11a.m. to 4p.m. Prices range from $5 to $25. What’s tons of fun, a bit of a workout, perfect for a party and even better for showing off? SkyZone! Fly up to the sky with trampolines lining the vast gym. You can even bounce, flip and jump into giant foam pits! It’s absolutely a dream for kids and kids-at-heart.



12/25, Disney on Ice – Disney on Ice Let’s Celebrate at Citizen’s Business Bank Arena in Ontario at 6p.m. Tickets range from $22 to $75. All your favorite Disney tales are coming to life on ice. Follow along with familiar stories as your favorite characters like Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Alice in Wonderland, the Disney princesses and more light up the rink with incredible skating, dancing, singing and an overall spectacular performance.

12/25, Movie Theater – Enjoy a movie at Laemmle Theatres in Claremont. Prices range from $6 to $11, and see their website for various movie times. There are options for the habitual Christmas-time movie goer. You can check out one of the five movies playing on this day, which are The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, The Imitation Game, Into the Woods, Unbroken and Wild.



12/26, Batting Cages – Indoor Baseball and Softball at Corona Cages in Corona from 10a.m. to 9p.m. Prices vary, so check the website for more details. It doesn’t matter your skill level, Corona Cages is the top destination for training athletes. After all, it is practice, practice, practice that makes a difference in the end.
