2/16, Winter Concert – Faith Baptist Schools Traditional High School Band/Choir Winter Themed Concert at Center Stage in Lake Arrowhead Village. Admission is free. Your favorite songs will be brought to life by the talented young choir and band of this local high school. The littles in your life can’t resist some of the catchy songs they’ll be performing, including "Let it Snow" and other songs from Frozen. For the more traditional spectator, other sacred songs like, "I Heard Bells on Christmas Day" and more will be a welcome treat.
2/17, Free Movie for Teens – Teen After School Movie at The Carnegie Building in Upland from 3:30p.m. to 5:30p.m. Cost is free. Sometimes there just isn’t anything fun to do after school. That’s why the Upland Public Library offers this fun opportunity for teens to grab some popcorn and watch a movie. This month’s feature movie is If I Stay, which is based off the bestselling novel by Gayle Forman.
2/18, Lincoln Shrine – Visit the The Lincoln Memorial Shrine in Redlands from 1p.m. to 5p.m. Admission is free. The life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln is paid tribute in this great museum. From information about his fascinating family to his huge accomplishments of ending slavery while preserving the state of the union, this exhibit holds everything you want to know about Honest Abe. Come find out why this man still inspires individuals over 200 years following his death.
2/19, Motorcross – Thursday MX Practice at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino from 8a.m. to dusk. Cost is $25 per bike on the Main Track. Quads are allowed on the REM track on Thursday. Nothing says family bonding like racing and dirt! Enjoy a full day of motocross fun, and feel the speed at Glen Helen. Your adrenaline will thank you later!
2/19, Basketball Game – Riverside Men’s Basketball VS. UC Santa Barbara at UC Riverside Student Recreation Center at 7p.m. Price is from $5 to $10. Head Coach of the UC Riverside Highlanders men's basketball team, Dennis Cutts, will lead this hardworking team to victory against UCSB! Playing at their home court, be ready to welcome a win for The Highlanders!
2/20, Family Fun Night – Highland Family YMCA’s Family Fun Night at the Highland Family YMCA from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Free for facility members. There is no place you’d rather be on a Friday night than spending it with your famly and others at this engaging event. 2/20, Musical Performance – Annie Jr. at Inland Regional Youth Theatre at Sherman Indian High School in Riverside from 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. Tickets are $15. Seating and doors open at 7p.m. No children under four admitted. We all know and love the heartwarming story of Orphan Annie and her journey to finding a family in Oliver Warbucks, Grace Farrell and her trusty mutt Sandy. This bright young star will have you following along her adventurous life in 1930s New York City.
