A little bit of rainy weather never stopped us from having lots of fun! That’s why we have a week full of events that will hold out, rain or shine. From family friendly daytime activites to a few night-time happenings that can only be enjoyed without the kids, we have lots of excitement in store this coming week.


3/2, Anniversary Party – One Year Anniversary Party at Brick House Deli in Pomona from 3p.m. to 5p.m. Everyone loves great food, and that gives us a great reason to celebrate the anniversary for one of our favorite neighborhood delis. 93.1 Jack FM will be at the Brick House Deli spinning tunes and giving away free stuff, and if you purchase a meal during this time, you’ll get a specialty drink on them—Happy Anniversary!


3/3, Art InstallationDesert Lighthouse Ultimatium at Culver Center of the Arts at Univeristy of California, Riverside from 12p.m. to 5p.m. This once fully functioning lighthouse of the Mojave Desert has become a spectacle in Riverside. After the lighthouse was torn apart, the top one-fifth was reconstructed and exhibited for you to enjoy. Don’t miss your chance to really learn the story behind this lighthouse, as well as the promising future for artist Daniel Hawkins.


3/4, Farmers Market – The Montclair Community Certified Farmers Market at Montclair Town Center (on Central Avenue between Benito Street and San Bernardino Street) from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Rain or shine, you will find baked goods, fresh produce, herbs, nuts and more at this friendly market. Be sure to stock up on goods, as these local ingredients will promote health and wellness in your home.


3/5, Kids-Free Date Night – International Whiskey Tasting at VOM FASS Claremont from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Please call (909) 399-0256 or stop by the store in advance to purchase your tickets, as events tend to sell out quickly. Price is $35. Ages 21 and over only. A great date night away from the kids, this event gives you the opportunity to taste and appreciate six exquisite whiskeys from across the globe, all paired with light appetizers and a knowledgable staff.

3/5, Mining – Gemstone and Fossil Mining at Gold Rush Mining Adventures in Big Bear Lake from around 10a.m. to 5p.m. For those with an interest in mining for precious gemstones, geodes, fossils, rocks and minerals, this family activity will certainly up the excitement as you get to, “Pan ore like a real miner!” You're guaranteed to find treasure at Gold Rush Mining Adventures.


3/6, Play To Kill a Mockingbird at Lifehouse Theater in Redlands at 7:30p.m. Tickets range from $7-18. A classic tale that most adults remember from reading in their school days, Harper Lee’s story is coming alive on a local stage. Known to captivate sold-out audiences, this is a great environment to cozy up with the family to enjoy this traditional American tale.

3/6, MusicalDracula the Musical at Grove Theatre in Upland at 7:30p.m. Check the website for ticket pricing and seating options. The story of Count Dracula in Transylvania is best told as a musical, and you can bring the kids along to experience this classic tale first-hand. Follow the devious motives of this infamous blood-thirsty character, and it will be an evening you never forget.
