If we had to explain all the fun we have littered throughout this week in five words they would be: Books, music, art, trampolines, animals. That’s right, the next five days aren’t destined to be boring for you or your little ones. In fact, this week has everything kids love and nothing they don’t.


3/9, Storytime & Activities – Storytime and Crafts at Villaseñor Library in San Bernardino at 6p.m. It’s no secret that reading and arts further a chid’s brain development, allowing them to channel their natural creativity and talent. Make some new friends, and take home a few new stories while you’re there. After all, reading a new book is far more relaxing than recorded TV shows before bed.



3/10, Grand Opening – Grand Opening for Dunkin Donuts in Upland. Store opens at 4:30a.m. Everyone loves getting new neighbors, so stop by to say hello and grab something to eat at this new donut shop popping up in Upland! Whether it's a cold OJ or one of their signature donuts, the kids will be thrilled to start their morning with a treat!


3/11, Art School – Art Class at Kids Art Chino Hills Studio from 3:30-4:30p.m. Classes at this time are for children ages four to six. Check online to schedule your free introductory class. Seasonal workshops and unique programs make this art school in Chino Hills unique for the IE. Allow your child to develop their real skill towards drawing and painting, and they will be sure to have a great time in the process.


3/12, Art Exhibitions – Second Thursday with Cindy Rinne at Chaffey Museum in Ontario from 7-8:30p.m. Free for CCMA members or $20 for guests. This museum that is drenched in local culture has so much to offer the community with its many exhibits and events happening throughout the year. Currently on view, “Figuratively Speaking” and “Rebirth of Dialects” are both comprised of countless beautiful works by various contributing artists in each.
3/12, Trampoline Park – Family Fun Night at Big Air Trampoline Park in Redlands. Price is $25. Your group of four will recieve four one-hour jump passes, one large pizza, a pitcher of soda and four tokens per family member. Add on an additional hour of jumping per person for only $6 a piece. Fly high, and you might even get a little exercise upon the sea of trampolines, which are further than the eye can see.


3/13, Dog Friendly Fun – Dog Days at Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga from 11a.m. to 4p.m. Bring your dog by for the free “Socializing and Crate Training Your Dog” seminar that’s happening at 6p.m. as part of this outdoor retailer’s family fun, four-legged friendly event. Fun giveaways might land your pooch with one of three fantastic prizes.

3/13, Horseback Riding – One Hour Guided Trail Ride at Marshall Canyon Equestrian Center in La Verne. One hour trails ride are $35 per person. Check the website for available reservation times. Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Those ages seven and older can enjoy a one-hour horseback ride into the beautiful scenery of the mountain’s beautiful foothills. Breathe in the fresh air and connect with mother nature on this exciting trek.
