Let’s make this one a week to remember, Inland Empire! We have some great, free community events, as well as some inexpensive trips out for indoor entertainment throughout Inland SoCal. 4/20, Bowling – Bowling at Bowlium in Montclair. Hours are from 11a.m. to 12a.m. They have various specials throughout the day, so be sure to check the website for a full list of pricing. Start Monday off with a little friendly competition among friends and family. After all, you know you’ve been practicing your happy dance!
4/21, Farmers Market – Tuesday Farmers Market at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center from 8a.m. to 1:30p.m. There’s nothing better than fresh produce, and you’ll find exactly that and so much more at this delightful market. Local crafts and unique works of art are on sale by local creatives, while fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers line the walkways.
4/22, Line Dancing – Wednesday Night Country Line Dancing at Wyatt’s at the Big Bear Convention Center fom 4p.m. to 10p.m. Enjoy some free line dancing lessons while Wyatt’s cooks up some tasty ranch style food. You’ll even stumble upon a chance to purchase some authentic western digs.
4/23, Cupcakes – Cupcakes for Cancer at The Mitten building in Redlands at 6p.m. Admission is free. It is no surprise that at IEShineOn.com we love cupcakes, especially with our very own IE Cupcake Fair coming up in October! At this event, you will have lots of opportunities to purchase raffle tickets and enjoy appetizers, drinks and cupcakes!
4/23, Laser Tag – Laser Tag at Laser Quest Chino from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Regular games are $9 each. All sorts of groups will enjoy laser tag, whether it's a family, party or work outing. Running through light up mazes and exerting tons of energy, everyone will get a kick out of this adventurous activity.
4/24, Performance – The Taming of the Shrew presented by Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre at Lewis Family Playhouse at 7:30p.m. Prices are $20 for general admission, $18 for seniors and $16 for youth. The 46th theatrical production from this theater is one of the most acclaimed of the many Shakesperian plays.
4/24, Baseball – Inland Empire 66ers vs. High Desert Mavericks at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino at 7:05p.m. There’s nothing more American than throwing on a baseball cap, and heading out to the ballgame to cheer on your local team! The Inland Empire 66ers will definitely love all your support.
