4/6, Zoo – Big Bear Alpine Zoo from 10a.m. to 5p.m. Admission ranges from free to $12 per person. Injured and orphaned animals have found themselves safe at home at Big Bear Alpine Zoo. This rehabilitation center prides itself on releasing animals back into the wild, however those unable to be released back into the wild are able to stay forever.
4/7, Health Tour – Healthy Eats Market Tour at Clark’s Nutrition in Loma Linda. Tours are available between 9a.m. and 5p.m. Organic, gluten free, grass fed—food labeling these days can be down-right confusing! Take this hour-long grocery store tour to learn more about healthy eating, which includes an aisle by aisle guide as well as a five-day real food meal plan.
4/8, Live Music – Karl Larson at Culver Center of the Arts at University of Riverside at 8p.m. Admission is free. This pianist from Brooklyn will create beautiful melodies for your family to enjoy. This music specialist will introduce young ears to the beautiful art of song, which might even get your body moving.
4/9, Tour – Self guided walking tour at Amy’s Farm in Ontario from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Get away from the busy city life, and visit this relaxing farm in the heart of the IE. Admission is free, however guests are invited to leave a donation for the farm’s Land Preservation Fund. With a produce stand selling only the freshest farm products, you definitely won’t leave this outdoor experience empty handed.
4/9, Kids Activity – “Genes: What Makes You You” Discovery Club at Biane Library in Rancho Cucamonga at 4p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. This program is made for school children ages 6-11. Perfect for the curious and adventurous young minds, this creative experience encourages children to participate hands on while learning.
4/10, Car Show – Fontana Car Show at Civic Center Campus in Fontana from 5p.m. to 9p.m. Admission is free. Qualified vehicles are shown on a first come, first serve basis per category. Everyone loves automobiles, especially classic hot rods, low riders, imports, customs, muscle cars, motorcycles and various other beautifully painted vehicles. Come check out the cars and more at this fun outing.
4/10, Farmers Market – IE Heritage Farmers Market at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga from 10a.m. to 2p.m. If you’re one who enjoys shopping outdoors, then make your way to the Farmers Market at Victoria Gardens. Once you’ve grabbed fresh produce, you can go shopping for some new shoes. You can’t beat that!
