6/29, Train Museum – Visit the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Access to the museum and parking are free. You can’t celebrate great American history without thinking about transportation, and how important it has been in our great nation over time. Be sure to wear comfy shoes, because this large museum consists of many buildings and parks full of locomotives, artifacts, streetcars and more.
6/30, Baseball Game – Rancho Cucamonga Quakes vs. High Desert at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga at 7:05p.m. Check website for ticket pricing. This week, we celebrate America—and there’s nothing more American than baseball games with the family. Watch as our local team battles the High Desert in this showcase of athleticism.
7/1, Aviation Museum – Visit March Field Air Museum at the March Air Reserve Base in Riverside from 9a.m. to 4p.m. Admission is free for Active Duty Military and Reserves with DOD ID card, as well as for children under four. Admission is $5 for children 5-11 and $10 for those 12 years old and older. Relish in the great history of aviation with over 70 aircraft in this museum’s various exhibitions. There are also over 30,000 different artifacts on display, to help you commemorate the U.S.A.
7/2, Racing – Arrive + Race at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside from 11a.m. to 5p.m. Sign ups stop at 4:30p.m. Rent a go-kart at this awesome motosports park, and get ready to reach high speeds of up to 60mph. This safe, but intense activity will prove to be the friendly competition you are missing in your life.
7/2, Line Dancing – Complimentary Dance Lessons at The Brandin’ Iron Saloon in San Bernardino at 7:30p.m. This beginner line dance lesson with AnneMarie is exactly what you need to get into some serious country dancing for the night. If you’re the type of student who likes to study ahead of a test, you can find the dance steps on their website beforehand!
7/3, Paint Night – Kids Paint! at Purple Easel in Rancho Cucamonga at 4p.m. Online price is discounted to $20. Suggested for ages 5-12. This hands-on paint class will guide your child through painting a beautiful Bright Owl. Be sure to have children dressed in clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Snacks and drinks are welcome, and the class starts promptly on time!
7/3, Firework Show – Jamboree Days Street Fair on Lake Drive in Crestline. Merchants, artisans and various activities will fill the streets of Crestline in the name of tradition! Stay a while, and enjoy the firework show over Lake Gregory, which starts at 9p.m. Happy Fourth of July!
