8/29, Museum – Visit the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Admission to the museum and parking is free. Minds young and old are intrigued by transportation and its innovative development over time. Visit this museum, and be captivated by the collection of locomotive artifacts that date back to the 1870s—from railway locomotives to freight cars, buildings and more.

8/30, Educational Outing – Learn to Conserve Water at Chino Basin Water Conservation District from 8a.m. to 5p.m. There is no time that’s more important to focus on conserving water in Southern California than now! Bring your kids to this interactive playground and garden for water conserving fun and education, and they’ll leave with an interactive experience to motivate your family to effortlessly help with California’s drought.
8/30, Cooking Classes - Be a master chef at Claremont Chef's Academy located in the packing house in Claremont. For ages 3-5 years old. Create hands-on meals in 60 min. Classes are on Tuesday at 12:30p.m. One-time class for child and adult is $25.
8/31, Nature Center – Visit the Mary Vagle Nature Center in Fontana from 12p.m. to 5p.m. Admission is free to the exhibits and Natures Center grounds. As a picturesque testament to the natural beauty that’s lost in our urban environment, this nature center is a peaceful environment to enjoy lunch by the pond, and check out local wildlife on a hike. Don't forget to bring lots of water!
9/1, Story Time – Tiny Tots Story Time at AK Smiley Public Library in Redlands at 10:15a.m. and 10:30a.m. Toddlers ages two and three are welcome to enjoy this free event where stories, songs and fingerplays are a great time! Socialize with others, and let your toddler’s imagination grow.
9/1, Mini Golf- Glo in the dark mini golf, arcade room, XBOX gaming room, & their newest feature, virtual reality gaming system. Located at the Galleria at Tyler Mall, Riverside from 10a.m-10p.m. $12 per person. Perfect family fun!
9/2, Night Market – Magnolia Center Market Place in Riverside from 6p.m-9p.m. Enjoy Riverside's newest and biggest market night. Every Friday evening enjoy famer's market produce, food, vintage retail vendors, and more! Free to the public.
