Children ages 0 to 12 have the opportunity to visit a large high tech city or journey to icy islands or maybe they’re venture to a secret spy base . . . the cinematic adventures are limitless, and popcorn will be provided.
9/1, Free Art Exhibit – Janet Edwards’ Exhibit at Redlands Art Association from 11a.m. to 4:30p.m. Exhibition admission is free. The etching and watercolor works by Janet Edwards demonstrate her love of the natural beauty of our beautiful state of California, which also happens to be this local’s artists home state. Don’t miss her creative array of captivating works.
9/2, Free Workout – Walk with the Mayor at Challen Park in Riverside from 6p.m. to 7:30p.m. Major Bailey and Councilman Perry are getting active in their community while appreciating the charm of Riverside’s Chalen Hill. Take this short walk, get a little exercise in the cool evening air, and expose your curious children to local politics in an informal way.
9/3, Free Movie Night – Family Movie Nights (every Thursday) at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium in Fontana from 6p.m. to 8p.m. This free movie screening will prove to be the perfect family outing, because everyone appreciates a quality film projected onto the big screen. Seating is limited, so you’ll want to arrive early to ensure you get a good spot.
9/3, Free Furniture Show – Nothing New Furniture Show at Erns Lab in Downtown Upland from 5p.m. to 10p.m. Admission is free. As a partner of Erns Lab, Nothing New Creations is hosting a furniture show with unique creations of both indoor and outdoor furniture and artwork from many different artists. There will be live music, a raffle and special guests, so don’t miss this opportunity to decorate your house with one-of-a-kind art.
9/4, Farmers Market – Victoria’s Farmers Market at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Admission is free. Located on South Mainstreet, this market gives patrons of the area a chance to shop fresh for a change. Grass fed meat, local produce and artisan goods will all be on sale, and you can do a little back-to-school shopping once you’re done.
9/4, Free Concert – Urban Skies: A Tribute to Keith Urban at The Shoppes at Chino Hills from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Urban Skies is a powerful cover band featuring John Brodersen that pays tribute to Keith Urban, who is one of the Billboard’s most famous country star of all time. Come dance with your friends to hits like “You’ll Think of Me” and “Tonight I Wanna Cry.”
